We got Chubb for Austin Ekeler money, thats not a club friendly, that is a steal, lol
Check your math, @Lee . Chubb is getting paid nearly twice as much per year as Ekeler.

Getting Chubb signed in July for 12.3 AAV and 20 mil guaranteed.
I didn't think we sign him before the season started, and I never thought he'd sign for that amount.
This is like 98% percentile outcome for these negotiations.
Well…yeah98%? What is 100%? Somehow you get a blow job from a cheerleader out of it?
This is something we saw with Conklin and John Johnson. Higher % of guaranteed money for lower AAV. Essentially, he’s making the same as Mixon and Jones, which is hilarious.Recent RB extensions, for comparison
Zeke Elliott 6 yrs $90m. $50m guaranteed
Christian McCaffrey 4 yrs $64m, $38.1m guaranteed
Alvin Kamara 5 yrs $75m, $33.8m guaranteed
Dalvin Cook 5 yrs $63m, $28.1m guaranteed
Derrick Henry 4 yrs $50m, $25.5m guaranteed
Nick Chubb 3 yrs $36.6m, $20m guaranteed
Austin Ekeler 4 yrs $24.5m, $15m guaranteed
Aaron Jones 4 yrs $48m, $13m guaranteed
Joe Mixon 4 yrs $48m, $10m guaranteed
Think the Browns did very well here
Over 6 years.Lol Zeke got 90 million
Love the deal.
I remember arguing with someone here and saying I think Chubb would get Derrick Henry-like AAV. The other person was pretty much guaranteeing it would be more than that. Not gonna gravedig but... yeah, here we go!
The rep from CAA is going to get every dollar he can. He might be aware that Chubb prefers to stay in Cleveland, but he's not going to look at Berry and say "Eh, that's enough."
You make me guess what happens, and with absolutely no information to go off of and giving this thirty seconds of thought, I'm guessing we keep Chubb at a deal that's around 3-years, $45 million, with $27 million guaranteed.
What is a fair price for Chubb? He's certainly worth best RB in the league money but if we can lock him up to something 3+ years at $12MM per year, I'd be all over that.
