Barrett's a big part of a playoff team and still has hype and he plays in NYC where he is overvalued. Shooting was his weakness, but he has improved a lot.

Look at the way people still fawn over Ingram and Lonzo. Both good players, but people act like they are big stars. They both have many weaknesses like Sexton does.

Hunter was legit good this year on both sides of the ball.

I think after this season the narrative changes, but everyone including some on this board think we have the worst young core in the league.

I personally think Koby has done a really good job drafting. I suspect Okoro has the highest upside after Mobley. Garlands next and I think he has a higher upside than Barrett or Hunter.

Sexton is most likely to hit his ceiling. Hell, if he takes a few more 3s a game, which Mobley should help him do, he will be 26-27 ppg scorer maybe on fewer attempts overall. My guess is he will up his passing because of the many options in the floor and because we added 2 great passers and passing is contagious. If Mobley, Allen, Okoro is anything like Drummond, Nance, Okoro Sexton is going to get a lot of leak out/transition opportunities. He isn't the best at steals, but he can certainly capitalize on them.

I think if there was a redraft the key question between Hunter and Garland is who owns the 4th pick. Does Griff decide he still moves back to draft Jaxson Hayes? Or does he take BPA at #4 and draft either Hunter or Garland. I don't think Atlanta drafts Garland at #4 with Trae.

I also think it will take a couple more years to push Barrett from that #3 spot. The potential he has with his size and skills would be something teams bet on and it has would have to be clear cut that someone is better than him which I don't think has happen yet.

They started to have Okoro just focus on defense and shoot 3s at the corner in the beginning while adjusting to the NBA. As he gained more confidence and adjusting to the NBA schedule, he was able to be more involved in the offense for PnRs. He was more shooting rather than hesitating as the season went on.

Look at his stats:
Okoro shot 44% from the field and 35% from 3 at home.
Okoro shot 40% from the field and 23% from 3 on the road.

Pre all star break: 41% from the field and 67% from FT
Post all star break: 42.5% from the field and 75% from FT

In the last 2 months he shot 44% from the field and averaged 16.6 ppg in last 9 games.

Okoro struggled from the road obviously with tough transition to the NBA with traveling and back to back games. As the season went on, his game improved offensively which showed promise to his development. With a full offseason, I expect Okoro to progress this season and having Mobley as a defender in the paint will provide less pressure defensively for Okoro. It will be fun to watch.

I expect to see a vastly improved handle. It’s the key to his game opening up.

I feel like improvement in handles comes from battling a real good on ball defender in practice or being pushed to handling the ball in game.

I've noticed the Cavs twitter brigade are really obsessed with players growing. Most males stop growing at 16 and its rare for males to grow after 18
Basketball players take hgh so they may continue to grow.

Okoro looks about 6-6 in shoes now???? I grew until my early 20's as well. Went from 5'11 to 6'1.

It was a very good showing for Isaac. His shot looked solid, he looked too big and strong to be playing summer league for the most part. His dribbling is still a big work in progress though.

Nice to see him agressive, though he shouldn't be allowed to walk anywhere without dribbling a ball this year....going to the fridge, dribbling, walking to his car, dribbling, going to the bathroom,. dribbling, going down the stairs....

Okoro looked ok yesterday. I like him trying to develop his offensive game.
