My mom liked Rick Fox. Her favorite was Eddie Johnson, though.I mean, if we're doing of all time, he's maybe top 10, but I think my top 5 would be
1. Rick Fox
2. Steven Adams
3. Dwyane Wade
4. JJ Reddick
5. Baron Davis
Are we talking the respectable Eddie Johnson or Fast Eddie Johnson with the cocaine, jumping from balconies, and eventually dying in jail after like a hundred arrests. The latter played with us for a brief stint. I assumed mom liked the other one, but maybe she liked a challenge, and bad boys, but he was a really bad boy by the end.My mom liked Rick Fox. My next four after Love would be Michael Smith (the Mormon dude who played for the Celtics in the late 80s/early 90s and was a Clippers commentator for a long time alongside Ralph Lawler), Matt Maloney (Rockets pg from the Barkley years), Grant Hill, and then probably J.J. Redick.
Lol, the respectable one. He was admittedly a rather handsome and smooth dude in his day. He once made a comment in Sports Illustrated that professional athletes were essentially wh*res with their bodies, so I'm guessing he had no problem with the ladies:Are we talking the respectable Eddie Johnson or Fast Eddie Johnson with the cocaine, jumping from balconies, and eventually dying in jail after like a hundred arrests. This would be best for everyone. So I see Wojo is reporting that Love and the Cavs are working towards a buyout and if happens he wants to sign with the Lakers (reunion with LBJ and Westbrook)

I’d hope more. He’s completely worthless. Can’t wait for him to be gone.I wonder how much Love is gonna give up in a buyout. I'd hope for at least $9M.
If he takes less then does his cap number also go down? If not then I don’t care what he gets bought out at Gilbert has plenty of money.I wonder how much Love is gonna give up in a buyout. I'd hope for at least $9M.
Yes his cap number will go down the next 2 seasons if he takes a buyout. If he gives back $10 mil then his cap number will go down $5m this season and $5m next season. If he takes less then does his cap number also go down? I believe JR was struggling with family related issues, injuries, and decline in performance that occurs with age in the seasons after the championship.Yes, he made the occasional stupid plays. But now matter how stupid the play is, it is just one play, and one bucket. But the other things he gave us his first two seasons here outweighed that. His defense was absolutely critical against GSW, and he gave it on every possession. Just check his advanced stats. If you want a comparison, think about Manny Ramirez. Obviously, J.R. is not as good as Manny, but Manny also committed the occasional hard-scratching, boneheaded play. But you didn't bench him because of what else he gave you. The same was true of J.R. in his first two seasons.
Different story after 2016 in my opinion. Both his offense and his defense dropped off significantly, which meant the occasional boneheaded play hurt worse. I actually think his dropoff was part of what gave us pretty much no chance against GSW. LBJ couldn't help out on backcourt defense as much after GSW got Durant, and with the falloff in J.R.'s defense, their backcourt could torch us at will.
