Don't get why people hate on Derrick Carr.
He's a good QB. Is he a future HoFer? No. But he's been a top 15 QB in the league his whole career. You can win with him.
I don't think he's top-15. That's without even using the questionable ones like Roethlisberger, Cousins, Tua etc--or going back a year and adding in players like Brees.
- Brady
- Rodgers
- Mahomes
- Wilson
- Allen
- Mayfield
- Lamar
- Burrow
- Herbert
- Watson
- Tannehill
- Prescott
- Stafford
- Kyler
- Ryan
Carr is fine. He's not great. The rest of that team is worse than Carr.
That list isn't in order. The numbers are there to count 15. I threw four off the top of my head then decided to go division by division, just counting the number of "no doubters" ahead of Carr. So, I don't wanna make this into a Mayfield thread because I like Baker and think he tooks a little too much heat on this forum.
But only a Cleveland Browns fan would have Baker as the 6th best QB in the league, ahead of guys like Prescott, Lamar, and Watson.
Anyway, the stats on Carr back me up.
2020:
He was 11th in QBR, 10th in Rating, 10th in Completion Percentage, and 6th in yards per attempt
2019:
10th in QBR, 9th in Rating, 2nd in Completion %, and 10th in Yards per attempt
I really do think he's one of the more underrated players in the league, where the perception of Carr is far worse than the actual player.
He's closer to a top 10 QB than being outside the top 15.

You can pull out specific stats, but they're pretty meaningless. I'm guessing the running players like Lamar and Kyler are below him in QBR and whatnot, right? Nobody in their right mind is taking Carr over them.
