RIP, Norm Macdonald

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
RIp. My favorite comedian. I loved the compilation video of all of his jokes from Norm Macdonald Live. I don't think anything has made me laugh that hard for an hour straight. Unfortunately that vid got taken down for copyright claims.
Same, fell in love going down a yt rabbit hole like a decade ago. Watched him so much that I definitely share some mannerisms and deliveries with him at this point.

I rember almost going to see him live before covid and not going. Reasoning was his talk show appearances etc were where he really shined and the shows that had been published were just ok. Really regret not going now

I have to admit... I totally misread his situation.

The past decade or so I saw he got bloated and he stopped doing as many projects, and I thought he got off the coke and became less funny/inspired.

I definitely feel like a jackass now. I thought highly of him before, think even more of his work now.

So hard to find the full version, but this will have to do. One of my favorites and only Norm could pull this off.

He broke the roasts that day.

His set is great... he does corny "America's Funniest Home Videos" jokes that made Bob Sagat a very rich man.

The best part was the rest of the show. He sat there pretending to read a paper. When somebody tried roasting him, he would peak out... occasionally unleashing his real shit. At one point his comeback was telling the other guy's punchline better than it was originally said. Can't touch a guy like that.

It's dad jokes at their absolute peak.
