New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wow, do I enjoy it. The suspense is special. This show is a completely new experience for me. The acting perhaps could be better, but it doesn't really matter.

If you just started it, wait until it really ramps up. I thought the acting actually got really good once you get deeper into the story.

Episode 5 I think... finished the episode where they "played" tug of war. I do think it got better.. just they have a thing for exaggeration.. especially when it comes to their facial expressions lol.

Yeah, they do the facial expression thing a lot.

I thought Episode 6 was the best of the bunch. Really takes a turn.

I know that they've changed a few of the male characters to female, and I'm fine with that. The sex of the characters doesn't play that large a role for the most part, so that's fine. It's the other stuff that makes it a pass for me.

I'm going to go on a Korean binge for awhile anyway.

I just finished the first two episodes and there's literally nothing from that interview you posted in the show.

I read the Foundation Trilogy for the first time maybe 45 years ago, and was looking forward to getting Apple TV just for this.
I must have readout around then too. It was still a trilogy when I read it. I forgot enough I won't notice if they changed anything. Watched the first two episodes last night, so far looks like the series will be great.

Isn't me saying it was in there - it's the showrunner/writer.

I get that. I'm just saying that there's literally none of what he said in that interview in the first two episodes. Seems like pretty boilerplate sci fi so far. Very pretty, but not exactly riveting story.

Pacing is going to be key for Foundation. I'm guessing it will be hard to tell a story that is so grand in time scale and maintain pacing

Ted Lasso is brilliant. I'm kinda hooked on his fish out of water, crocodile dundee esque story

Ted Lasso has been fantastic. It is not at all what I expected when I saw they were making a TV show based on a character from a funny promo from NBC Sports.
