Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Felt like absolute shit for too long.. thought it may be the npp so I upped testosterone to a healthy 800mg to offset and I feel great. Will never run lower test again. Confidence is unreal, I'm hitting the ball 380, girls love me. A little rough on the skin, I'm a ball of oil.

191 or so right now, 2/3 of the way through leg one..gonna recomp with tren starting in a few weeks.

What kind of exercise can I do that isn't running, that won't take away from my main lifts? Trying to lose weight. Intent of the supplemental exercise would probably be increased work capacity.

I am getting addicted to the gym. I want to go every day. Sometimes twice a day. My life is pretty blah but I feel great in the gym.

I did farmers walks last time and that was OK, I could see doing that more or some variants.

What about walking? Are there any journeys you drive that could be a walk sometimes? Outside of regular sports sessions, walking is the best way of burning a few extra calories on a daily basis.

Ironically I just turned down an offer for soccer but I'm so out of shape and prone to injury and that league is too competitive. Would love to play basketball though...good idea...in winter I do indoor soccer, can't wait for it, but need to get in shape for it...usually I only start to get in shape towards the end of the season.

I walk the dogs every day weather permitting tho it's only 1-1.5 miles. Maybe I will get some bright pink 2lb dumbells to carry with me on my walks to increase the intensity.

I'll be damned, I did the gym yesterday and went to take the dogs for a walk around 8:30...then just kept walking. Very peaceful and I actually enjoyed it versus "ugh have to walk the dogs". Did about 3 miles. I can see myself walking more like this for exercise + mental health, and up the pace to a power walk type thing.

I've been thinking about a nutritionist to help me. Any idea how I would start looking for someone good and not some bozo I find on a google search?

I mean I'll do it

How much would you pay

For posterity

I have had the worst cycle I've ever had. I got hit with covid, food poisoning and a handful of other absolutely awful things . Knee injury that won't heal. Etc etc

I'm at work 207 right now, up 30. Gonna recomp for the rest

I have felt like absolute shit for a month. Unbearably combative and tired of people. I felt phenomenal before the tren and during the npp. I don't know where the lamotrigine and prozac became less consistent and when all the drama happened but there are a handful of variables that are likely responsible to different extents

But I feel like shit, and me in the future: if you feel like shit after you start the tren Its the tren

@David. Any experience with myo reps?

Have been watching a lot of Sean Nal on the YouTubes. He seems to be a good follow, at least he makes fun of other YT lifters in ways that sure seem to make sense.

Looking to switch things up a bit. Have been mostly maintaining weight over past four months, but have definitely gained muscle and lost fat. Thinking that honeymoon period is over. My bench is finally close to back where it was 12 years ago, a whopping 180 (3x5).

Also started Wellbutrin a month ago and it has really been agreeing with me. A nice side effect seems to be reduced appetite/weight loss.

No experience whatsoever

Weight went up real quick after lotsss of stagnation

178-215

I'm fucking heavy. It is hard to move. Wiping my ass is basically impossible my arms are so big. My shins hurt, it's hard to accelerate and super hard to decelerate

Deciding whether or not to throw one more month in

Better than not being able to wipe your ass because you are so fat and inflexible!

Dieting and lack of consistent sleep (one year old daughter + separated spouse) killing my strength. Stalled out at 185# bench which is where I stalled a decade ago. Just threw on 190 and got 4 reps but followed up w 2. Need to reload and increase volume I think. But for the first time in my life that puts my 1RM at my bodyweight so that's neat.

Down 15 lbs since starting to try to lose weight a few months ago but have taken a few detours because life stress. 25 pounds since last summer.

Make sure you're doing your sets super slow, negative reps are absolutely a thing, and always go to failure. If you're not actually challenging your body, youre not going to break down and build the muscle sufficiently.

You're also just not realistically going to gain much strength while at a deficit. Props for maintaining it
