That’s like saying someone has a better vertical than Kevin Love or shoots free throws better than Ben Simmons.

No, Doctor.

A 19 year old freshman with big man height shooting a shade under 70% from the free throw line and 30% from three? That's an exceptional sign for future improvement.

In fact, Dean Wade shot lower in both categories as a 19 year old freshman Jayhawk. Would we say he failed to develop as a shooting big?

Or shoots 3 pointers better than Ben Simmons. Or is a better teammate than Ben Simmons. Or is less of a premadona than Ben Simmons. Or is less Australian than Ben Simmons.
Lol laughed out loud irl.

Whoa there. Sorry, I forget who the Aussie here was that explained how Ben Simmons is the antithesis of what an Aussie athlete should be. That remark of yours is gonna fucking piss him off :chuckle:

Hard to score for the Jayhawks if you never played for the Jayhawks.

On a scale of 1 - 10, how elitist am I for being fuck deficient on this subject? I don't have a single fuck to give if I offend an ex- Shocker.

The story here is that a 7 footer with those shooting numbers are in good company.

The brilliance and knowledge on this board is so overwhelming it leaves a person breathless. Jayhawk and Shocker. 0 fer 2. But carry on. You’re vocabulary (and many others) is legendary.

1) The irony
2) The Shocker comment was clearly made in jest because who Wade played is college ball for (Kansas State, we know) had nothing to do with the overarching point of @Randolphkeys post, which was that Mobley is in good company (Wade) regarding his path to being a good shooter.
3) I’d put Key’s vocabulary up against most people on this site.

Put it up against mine. No online dictionairies.

Spelling contest.

I’m looking for some 25 & 20 games but I’m getting 10 & 6 games.

Pick up your game, kid.

Who are you?

When you are going to start a fight out of nowhere, it should ideally be over missing a joke entirely. Killing it, dude!

Anyway, Mobley has some great shooting form. As the best big on the college game, I didn't expect him to use it much at USC. It's not really something to be salty about on the internet. I am not expecting him to be in the top 5 rookies for scoring, but it's okay to be excited about his tools. The Cavs haven't had a prospect like this in a while.

Since Comeback Kid seems to be watching this discussion, I'll say it in here... I think Wade has played very well so far this season, and I think he's making a strong argument for himself as a rotation piece.

Wade's a stiff. Play him other than in garbage time, and he'll prove it. I'd rather give his minutes to the ghost of Anthony Bennett.

It's sad to even mention his name in a thread dedicated to an actual basketball player.

I agree Mobley is on a completely different level as far as his ceiling goes, not even close.

And I won't go into it any farther in this thread, but I disagree that Wade is as bad as you make him out to be. I think he's fundamentally solid, he has length, he can play defense and shoot at a solid level. I don't think he's a starter but I don't think he hurts you as a rotation player.

Okay, anything else from me about Wade will go in the appropriate thread, which I believe is buried somewhere on page 3.
