The 76er front office needs to get it together. Its not fair to Collin or Ben for example that they could have had a couple of weeks with their new teams in the preseason to work out some kinks, now will get traded right at the seasons start, coming in at the last second, will take until Thanksgiving before it smooths out. Great job. I figure the snot filled rage by the 76er staff is mushing up the carpets.

I am hoping for at least a relatively injury free first couple of
months for the Cavs. Enough run to see which, if any, of the
recent #1 draft choices have improved their game in a way
that compliments Mobley. Anyone who doesn't fit
should be part of a trade package for a more useful
player who isn't on the backside of his career.

Can Garland grow a pair? Can Sexton channel
some of his fire to a team concept? Is Allen the
player we saw the first handful of games as
a Cav or the guy who seemed checked out
the last couple months the past season? Okoro
is a long shot as I haven't seen him consistently
display an elite/all star skill on either side
of the ball.

I have JBB also on the clock. I need to see a
system in place on both ends of the court
instead of the seemingly random substitution
patterns we have endured in recent seasons.
And the system must compliment Mobley, now
and going forward. To me, his seat starting
the season isn't hot, but I gauge it as warm.

Altman? What he does shuffling the roster
this season should determine his fate.

No more low BBIQ types.

He's done a decent job with trades, but the
test now is if he can maneuver a deal that
brings in a player who is at or not far
from all-star level.

I don't consider anyone on the roster
right now an adequate #2 option for
a good team. I'm talking both
ends of the floor talent.

Kobe has had enough years to learn his
job. Now he has to show it by putting
pieces in place to get the CAvs back
to being a winning team without LBJ.

I'm not advocating a win now at all costs
approach because I don't think the Cavs
have the assets to ascend quickly this season.

But I don't want to see any more tanking or
mysterious injuries to key players down
the stretch with an eye on the draft.

Organization has to show Mobley and anyone
else they deem a keeper that the bottom
line is wins and effort in that direction.

Nice. I was hoping they would sign Justin James before training camp. He was a 2nd round pick of the Kings a few years ago. He's already 24 but at least is wing sized at 6'-7". I'd rather give this guy a shot over another small guard. He had a 31 point game back in May which almost matches the 32 point effort by Okoro.

We'll be the 8th team for which he's played. Dude gets around.

I remember when Ed was a rookie in Toronto. Time flies.
With that said they obviously consider Davis a more reliable backup big than Kabengele.

As they say (or at least they should say) "It is better to have played for a lot of different teams in a long career than to have played for only a few in a short one".

lol I should be curious to know what the hell you would do to yourself if it ended up being Garland for Simmons since your only true motivation seems to be getting rid of Sexton. But we both know neither Cavs guard is enough to get Simmons from the delusional Morey who wants a truck load of picks in that scenario.
The only way they trade Sexton is at the deadline if Garland breaks out and that aint gonna happen

I don't know anything about him. What's his deal?

another non shooter smh weird signing I guess it's just veteran leadership from a big on the last leg of a career.
JJ doesn't shoot either by the looks of it but he is from Nance Jr. alma matter of the big W so there is that lol

slow it up some on the expectations is my take. Nothing good that equates to wins happens in the NBA in one off season although I do expect to be a late lottery team

Same here I was hoping he would get a spring training look, already better than any true small forward we have on this team, which is not saying much......Fyi I consider Okoro and Windler more 2 guards that can play the 3.......
