Fuck trying to win. Unless Sexland+Okoro somehow turns out to be a lot better than expected, this team is not really ready to win, we should be aiming for the lottery. Granted, too much tanking can be bad for a players' development too, but we have core personnel issues that need to be fixed.
Tanking should, imo, be left as a trade deadline decision in almost all cases. That's how the Bucks won a title, that's how the Raptors won a title. It's bad for your organization if you are always openly tanking year in and year out.
Try to win w/who you got, if it's not working by the trade deadline, part ways with some of the pieces and go from there.

Mobley is now the Cavs franchise player.

Yes, he has plenty to work on but his mental and
physical skills on both ends of the court are
elite.

Even in these preseason games, he makes all
who follow the team see the large gap between
him and the next current Cavs player.

And last year at this time we were leaning
on Andre Drummond.

It's going to be a frustrating year with alot of fans yelling "FEED MOBLEY" and instead we're gonna have Sexton and Garland going 1 v 5 .
Yeah, but Mobley isn't going to be a greatly reliable offensive player. So it isn't like were going to miss a ton.

more Mobley at the elbow, please. This guy sees angles and handles doubles like a high level pro already.

One of the (many) things I love about Mobley. After years of watching TT fumble around under any pressure it's crazy to watch a 20 year old kid be patient and not just avoid turnovers -- but somehow end up making a positive play. And every time I think it was just one solid individual play, but then he does it again...

he might be the franchise player already if this preseason transfers over but he will probably be less impactful on the block and the elbow for awhile so maybe if lucky they will let him have the freedom to expand his floor game and play some sf while he gets stronger.
No telling what may come in time or who they draft next season etc but compared to others recently drafted he is clearly more polarizing.

His release looks to be a touch quicker.... he's never gonna be Steph, but he looks better. Excited to see how confident he looks under pressure in the regular season.

Probably will be fine when he is truly up to game speed. I don't remember a rookie looking this comfy since Kyrie though.

It doesn't matter. Mobley is clearly the franchise player and he should have the ball in his hands more than less.

Forcing him into situations he isn't comfortable with isn't going to help his development tho. He has a ton of value off-ball, especially as a screener.

I will flip my shit if JBB's solution to making sure Mobley gets enough touches is to force feed him in the post.

He looks more solid already than in summer league. That was pretty good shooting even if unguarded. He is going to be unguarded. 3's wont be able to reach his jump shot and bigs are too slow to guard him at the perimiter. After 3 years in wilderness nice to have a franchise player again.

He has an elongated release, brings it low, but his actual release is very good form.

All that said, he is 7'1", the fact he can shoot that well as a 20 year old at 7'1 is amazing
