2021 MLB Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bit of a roller coaster of a season for him. But I'd still definitely take him over the package we received for Lindor because I think his ceiling is quite a bit higher than Amed's and Gimenez's
You may be right about the long term production by Lux..he seems to be finding a way to make the Dodgers give him more and more playing time.. this on a World Series Championship Level club.. In short..pretty damn good..

Certainly a reasonable opinion, but if forced to choose, I will take Amed and Gimenez over Lux. We'll check back in 2 years and see where it all shook out.

Fashionably late to the party:
My Giants over my Dodgers
My Astros over my Red Sox
My Braves over my Giants
My Braves over my Astros

Strikes me as the most appealing outcome!

At this point a Braves vs. Red Sox is the WS match up I am most interested in.

At this point, unfortunately, I find all of the remaining teams (assuming the Dodgers move on) very unappealing. Fortunately, hockey season on ESPN+ will capture my attention.

Agreed. Fuck the remaining teams. Unfortunately, I still hate some way more than others so I'm going to be keeping an eye on how this fucking tournament filled with teams that I fucking despise to various degrees shakes out.

Lux has an ultra high ceiling, but at some point ceiling has to become production.

So far, Amed and Gimenez are out producing Lux better than 3 to 1.

And over all, Gimenez is out producing Lux in their MLB careers.

If Lux had been the return for Lindor, this board would be beating him over the head with the same stick we used on Peralta.

Nah. Folks would trot out his exit velocities, his hard hit ratios, his barrell temperatures and SIZL factor to show he is on the cusp of breaking out soon. And maybe he is. But I'll still take this duo who apparently can both SS at the very same time since everyone keeps lumping them together. Plus his name is Gavin, just sounds like an asshole.

Sure, but only because the board would have had high expectations for Lux. Expectations were pretty low for the actual return so everything is gravy.

Nah. Moreso I think Amed is nothing more than an average, serviceable 3 year (now 2) placeholder until hopefully one of Arias, Rocchio, or even Gimenez emerges and can take his spot. Don't have much expectations for Gimenez to be anything great. Maybe Wolf or Greene develop into something down the road.

All of this is futile though. Lux was never close to being on the table judging by the package the Indians ended up with

Screw it, go Astros. Just let the world burn lol.
