Cleveland Browns 2021 Regular Season: RIP

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
People will laugh at this (or maybe not)........but if Fitzmagic is healthy and Tua goes to Washington, I'd scoop him up as a hail mary to salvage the season.

Fitz has been a good, solid vet.....still has some life in his arm and would have the best offensive talent he's ever had.

Would potentially be a surprisingly good break for the Browns if Baker were to be out this year but we view him as the potential long term answer. I'm sure Fitz could be had for cheap if the trade fell that way.
I actually love this if Baker is unable to be the QB we need due to injury. It's the ultimate boom or bust play. If we get Fitzmagic we're unstoppable, and if we get Fitztragic...at least we have a monster run game. Fuck it!

But we won't do it unless we also lose Keenum to injury. He's too good of a backup and this is why we have him.

Seems like if the Browns actually wanted to do that, they would have already.

Baker is a far more interesting QB (to me), than Tua, so the Browns honestly must just have no interest.

As if the Browns offered Baker + the same picks, the Texans would surely jump on that. At least I would think so.

Baker being injured is probably a plus as well in this hypothetical......doesn't effect the theoretical current year draft pick status of the Texans, while giving them a good option to move forward with.

I'd imagine the Texans aren't getting what they want for him, or he would have been gone already.

Now they are advertising he's going to be gone, just to see if anyone gives up more before they pull the trigger.

Similar to this thought, I think if/when Russell Wilson demands his way out of Seattle, picks + a bridge QB might make some sense in that scenario for them..

Did you guys do any Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach or Disturbed?
I ended up getting kicked out of the band bc I refused to cover anything off of Chocolate Starfish. I just felt it was below us artistically and whenever my trans-mates would ask me to play it, I’d go into a rendition of something by the jam gods Phish instead.

Once I started getting into those super crunchy Phish trannies and dipping my toes into some Medeski Martin & Wood, they got jealous and booted me.

I took my gently used collection of Pitchfork mags and got the fuck out of there.

Just so im clear, we're to the point where we're excited about adding Ryan Fitzpatrick, but Cam Newton is Meg from Family Guy?

Cam Newton was / is absolutely cooked. Fitz actually played pretty well the past two seasons.

Here were their 2020 numbers. Fitz was not just better.....he was miles better. Fitz was the #11 QB in 2020 in EPA Over Average and he only played 9 games, starting 7. Cam was #36.

This is Fitz' ceiling for sure......but if he's even half of this, our offense would be markedly improved over Baker's first 6 games.....assuming we can get moderately healthy.

Nick Foles>>>

Nick Foles, Cam Newton, and Fitzmagic suck.

Yeah, Chocolate Starfish was not the height of Limp Bizkit’s artistic creativity. You’re probably thinking their first album “2 Dollar Bill Y'all” was…and I would agree.

Let us not forget that Phish was a huge influence on the Grateful Dead.

You figure without Phish, there would be no Dead. And without the Dead, there would be no Dave Matthews.

And without Dave Matthews, there would be far fewer abortions had by drunk rich college girls between 98-12.

I would much rather have Fitz than Keenum who is legitimately horrible and I’m not sure why this board thinks he’s anything other than worthless

I would much rather have Baker than Fitz, but if that’s not an option I’d absolutely trade for Fitz

Fitz would be a great bridge to give Baker time to heal in hopes of him returning later in the season.

Otherwise, I'm not sure why we'd give up anything for him. We aren't winning a Super Bowl with Fitz or Keenum (or an injured Baker for that matter).

I played for a band in High School called the Ft Wayne Transition All Stars.

Nobody could solo or do anything really standout. We just played transitions from popular rap songs in the late 1990s-early 2000s.

Give us an example of a late 90/early 2000 rap song transition you played! Are we talking the poppy shit like Ludacris and Ja Rule? The hardcore stuff like Tupac/Makaveli, Biggie? Outkast? Busta? Wu Tang? KRS-1? I feel like most rap transitions are short in nature (with the exception of some Outkast songs). Do you play them in a loop?

You should record the transitions you remember and play them for RCF on that ol' rusty trombone your wife got you!
