Week #7 - Denver Broncos @ Cleveland Browns (-4.5) - 8:20 p.m. on Fox

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That’s the right call, sadly.

They barely completed a 3rd down today. The Browns are playing with a backup QB. Put faith in your defense to get it back. If you fail the 4th down attempt, that's game.

I know it sounds insane. But this late in the game, down 2 scores, you typically decrease your win% probability more by punting.

You don’t blindly go for it in every case but I think it was questionable to punt there. Already, they are going to lose 2+ minutes in a game already in the 4th and best case, probably get a touch back on a punt.

You have to be hyper aggressive down 2 scores, to typically have a chance in an NFL game that is this late. That or have something really strange happen when you are being conservative.

It's not though, for the exact reason I already laid out.

If they go for it and don't get it, all they have to do is hold the Browns to a FG and they're still down the same two possessions they're currently down.
Well they're getting the ball back without giving up 3 at worst and only like 2 minutes went off the board. I still disagree.

They could have said he didn't control until he was out of bounds but that explanation was bull shit

Lol how? Even the TV dude said it was incomplete.

Jarvis rushed to the line knowing he didn't catch it.
Then they showed a replay they didn’t at the stadium

The ball did hit the ground, you can see it. It was the right call unfortunately. Even Jarvis knew.
It's allowed to and he very much controlled it

The question is if he was out of bounds

Interesting. If I was Fangio I’d make us re-kick.

That wasn't a catch.

Fangio took 5 yards instead of redoing the kick lmao

Jesus Christ how many illegal formations are we gonna get? That's either poor coaching or petty reffing. BTW, that first call on OBJ I thought was crap. Before the snap, he definitely checked with the ref to make sure he was lined up ok.

2 minutes represents 15% of the time that was left.

I understand what you are saying but the math just has you up against it down 2 scores in the 4th.
