Anyone watch the Spurs game? Only saw the highlights but that looked ridiculously fun. Bunch of young, hungry, in your face guys shooting threes left and right.

Going to be a really interesting team to watch if this keeps up. Fun.

Biggest issues with the new best 75 players: feel like at least one of Ginobli or Parker needed to be on there.

And considering the length of his career, Vince Carter definitely should be on there above some of those names.

What about Dwight Howard?

- NBA champion (2020)
- NBA finals (2009)
- 5× All-NBA First Team (2008–2012)
- All-NBA Second Team (2014)
- 2× All-NBA Third Team (2007, 2013)
- 8× NBA All-Star (2007–2014)
- 3× NBA Defensive Player of the Year (2009–2011)
- 4× NBA All-Defensive First Team (2009–2012)
- NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2008)
- 5× NBA rebounding leader (2008–2010, 2012, 2013)
- 2× NBA blocks leader (2009, 2010)
- 11th all-time in rebounds (and counting)
- 13th all-time in blocks (and counting)

From 2008 to 2012, Dwight Howard was atleast a top 5 player in the league and extremely dominant. I feel like Carmelo Anthony, Damian Lillard and Anthony Davis made it on name recognition as the 3 have been media favorites in their careers. Adrian Dantley, Alex English, Pau Gasol, Manu Ginobili, Dwight Howard, Tony Parker and even Ben Wallace would be better choices in my opinion than those 3.

Glad to see Dominique Wilkins make it at least. I remember there was criticism over him not making the 50 list back in 1996-97, so he was expected to make the 75 list. (The first pro game I attended as a kid, by the way, was seeing Dominique in his last season in Atlanta before he was traded for Danny Manning. Had one of his trademark windmill dunks.)

Cam Reddish the leading scorer in a Hawks blowout…should have traded for him while we could LOL

The minute he came in the game, he was the difference. First possession he came in fresh and took the ball from the top of the key for the scoop against 5 tired Mav starters. He's no longer thinking and the game is slowing down for him.

Nate McMillan sold him on this 6th man role and he's going to own it. He sprinted to guard Doncic as soon as he came in.

If only we had a coach that could do the same for Sexton....

Here's a question for you...would the Cavs be better off if they had taken Cam Reddish at #5 in the 2019 NBA draft, rather than Darius Garland? Reddish was part of that stacked Duke freshman class that included Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett, & Tre Jones. He came into the year as a likely top 3 pick and then his stock fell, as some felt he disappointed at Duke. He was a divisive pick, with many Cavs fans against picking him, thinking that he would be a bust.

The irony is the Cavs reportedly were after DeAndre Hunter, but the Hawks traded up with New Orleans to land Hunter at #4. Reddish fell to the 10th pick and who scooped him up, but the Hawks...talk about an embarrassment of riches! So, now they have both Hunter & Reddish and I'm not sure Reddish isn't the guy with the better long-term upside. I think the Hawks would be foolish to trade him, so maybe the Cavs try to trade for Hunter, instead? They can't really afford to pay both guys.

Sexton may not be a true PG, but he can play that spot capably.

To be fair it was reported that JBB had an idea to start Okoro over Sexton but they talked him out of it.
Having the idea but actually being able to get the player to buy in are two completely different things.

I've seen no evidence that Sexton is unwilling to do that OR that was the reason the move was not made. If said evidence is out there I'd be happy to see it.

Do you believe Sexton would pull a Simmons if he was moved to the bench?

I don't believe he pulls a Simmons, but I could see him sulking and taking it personally as a demotion rather than a better use of talents. I could just as easily see him being talked into it and owning the position too.

As it stands now, the coach was overruled by the FO so it's a moot point.

I don't think highly of JBB. I keep hearing about how players love him, but all I see is terrible coaching. I'd expect if they loved him, they'd buy into his gameplan. But until game 1 of this year, I've seen little to suggest that they have.
