Saw someone mention Halloween Kills in the movie thread, so I thought this might be worthwhile. The Halloween reboot/sequel was a little dumber than I hoped but it had some great moments (especially that long take following Michael). I think my shifted expectations and the rumors of a high body count will give me reason to enjoy Kills even more.
Anyway, it's October aka peak horror time! Last year was the first time I tried to do a new horror every day in October and I really enjoyed it. This year I planned ahead a bit more so I already have too many options to get me to 31.
So far:
10/1 - Elvira: Mistress of the Dark
10/2 - Sleepaway Camp
10/3 - Candyman (1992)
10/4 - The Wailing
10/5 - Attack the Block, Halloween II
Candyman has been on my list for a while and with the new one out I wanted to see the original first. Unfortunately it's not streaming on any of the apps I have access to, but I do have access to the internet... Excited to see it tonight!
