That's always the way it's been. International League Pass was a far superior product than anything that was offered in the US, for substantially cheaper. There's something wrong if I could watch NBA at a better coverage and quality at half the price in a third world country than in the US. Such a bummer. Never thought that moving half way across the globe would prevent me from enjoying basketball.
Cuban is working on a program that would offer Mavericks fans a $50 credit each month of the season toward DirecTV Strеam to reduce the cost of the only strеaming platform that offers Bally Sports Southwest, he told The Dallas Morning News.
The Mavericks’ owner is still working on details, but he said the franchise would first offer season-ticket holders the opportunity and then expand sign-ups to the first 10,000 fans total.
The team’s broadcasting limitations aren’t unique to regional sports networks across the NBA, but they’ve drawn the ire of fans left without widespread access to Mavericks games since the 2019-20 season.
DirecTV Stream — which starts at $84.99 a month for packages that include regional sports networks — is the only streaming platform that carries Bally Sports Southwest, the local provider of Mavericks, Stars and Rangers games.
Since Sinclair bought the Fox Sports regional Networks in August 2019, YouTube TV, Hulu, Sling TV and FuboTV do not.
Cuban’s plan would decrease the monthly cost to about $35, not including fees.
Oh boy Mark Cuban subsidies for a year.Mavericks, DirecTV Stream announce reduced price to watch Bally Sports Southwest for new subscribers

The NBA streaming model is so dumb. If you had high quality streams, any game, no blackouts - i bet a lot of people would be willing to pay for that. I would probably do up to 500 for that. But instead you get shitty quality streams with ads all over the place for way too much money and media blackouts
The more likely scenario is Bally Sports goes bankrupt (it's an inevitable at this point), the MLB, NBA, and NHL team up to buy back the broadcast and streaming rights, and build out their own direct to consumer streaming approach.100% agree
I was gonna get League Pass until I saw local games is blacked out. It's so stupid because I don't want go to shitty sites on my tablet. I hope one day the NBA change this bullshit or the folks at Ballys Sports allow cable cutters to pay a fee for the season.
The answer is.. Bally’s.Since I can't watch the games live, thanks Bally's, is there anywhere to watch the full game after it has happened?

Embrace the illegal streams. I would happily pay a reasonable amount of money to watch the Cavs, but I can't so I won't.
It's a bit annoying, and sometimes you have to try multiple streams, but it works.
They also show the NBA feed so you get to see halftime shows and the arena during timeouts.
