Much more positive from him this season in his general play, and also with a lowered expectation. However the shooting is a major concern, he is getting to his spots and missing, his mins will have to go down if this does not improve.
After seven games Love is averaging 35.5% from the field and 20.8% on 3's. That won't cut it, even if he were a great defensive player. He's grabbing 7.3 rebounds in 21 minutes per game, so he can still rebound, but I'm not impressed with his offense or defense.

However, he's fourth in assists despite being eight in minutes, so he's doing a nice job in that area. I don't know if passing and defensive rebounding are enough to keep him in the rotation.

At some point I expect Wade will replace him, either due to injury or just inability to score.

nobody rebounds an easy board with the kind of gravitas that Love does. Where is the stat for that?

Wade deserves a proper shot at it, and with Love out here is the chance to establish himself.

On Love though I would expect the shooting to come back at some point, it is not as if he is having huge trouble getting his shot off, just missing open looks, especially from 3, but if he is out with Covid(assume this is what it is, though why they don't just say it...) and Wade goes well he could be down to 10-12 mins a night.

I'm assuming it's some sort of covid exposure issue but does seem a little coincidental it happens on the heels of the blowout in Phoenix. He has seemed a little more engaged this season esp playing with Rubio.

Looking forward to Wade and hopefully Windler getting some of his minutes though.

I hope to not see Wade. Should start Windler and give him the SF minutes and slide Lauri to the bench to play KLoves minutes. See what Windler can do. We know what Wade can do. Wade isn't it.

This guy is elite. Would love to see him catching passes for the Browns.

So I guess I am just ignorant but does entering h&s protocols mean he tested positive for the C19 or could it be any number of things? Just curious if anyone knows because if nothing else maybe more players will soon be in the same boat or something
