Gigantic ‘if’ at the beginning of my post. Even still, I thing his shooting numbers before last year (~37%) are a benefit to the team over:

- Lamar Stevens
- Dylan ‘Planet Bullshit’ Windler
I'm still intrigued by Windler, even though he can't ever seem to ever stay healthy. The Cavs seem to be as well, since they picked up the option on his rookie contract, even though he hasn't done anything to justify that.

Cedi is exactly the kind of player everyone wants if he is hitting his threes. Not as GOOD as a player than we want at the wing, but he fits the mold.

The only reason you trade him is if you think his early season performance is an anomaly.

We all know he re-tooled his shot last year, and that can take some time...

Ya, I mean wow. If this is his shot now... I'm impressed. Seen hot shooting from Cedi before though. Have to wait and see. It looks better and he is getting it up faster

Last year his form was completely re-worked...he was a spitting image of Korver. This year I think it looks slightly different?

I think it's more realistic that he maintains something close to 40%, than he regresses to his dog turd shooting from last year.

I was at the game last night. Was impressed with Osman. He spaced the floor by hitting some threes.

I went to the game in Charlotte. Cedi looked good. The cavs offense does play better without Okoro. He adds no value on the offensive side.

I hate when Cedi looks good for like 2-4 games, it always makes the "oh yeah, fucking Cedi" realization that much more painful later.
Sigh.. but here we are, Cedi looking like a real knockdown 3 point shooter when he gets the ball in a C&S situation and he's squared up in rhythm.

His consistency is just so poor. Can do so well and then blow it. Felt like that in the first Charlotte game. Hit some 3s in the first half and then had 2 backbreaking turnovers in a row at the end.

I'm glad to see him playing well because lets face it we have no one else that can hit 3's and provide energy off the bench.
(Windler could be that guy but we can't count on him to stay healthy for more than 2 games in a row)
Hate to have to rely on him he's so inconsistent but this team will win a lot more games if he continues to play well.

He’s also been under better control. Cedi tended to get into trouble when he was playing like a point-forward. I don’t have any stats to back it up, but it seems to me that he’s taking simpler shots and forcing things less.

Doing too much has been his problem. Handling only in transition, making the easy pass, and finishing at the rim off the assist rather than trying to take it there in the half court all help him. Playing with guys passing makes him much better. When he plays with Collin, he also tries to iso and he sucks at that.

Osman has some good games earlier last season as well. I think around game 15 team defense has a tendency to elevate making Osman too slow to compensate. Interesting if that happens again.

It's hard for fans to sell high on a player than it is for a retail buyer to sell high on his stock.

If he has some value, trade him.

Don't wait until he has no value. That defeats the entire purpose.

Cedi has a tendency to mimic other players. He tried to take stuff from Lebron's game and incorporate it into his. He tried to take Korver's shooting style.

I just don't think any of that stuff ever was that natural to him or his game. His shot might have looked like Korver's but he always seems unbalanced when he landed. How he is shooting right now just seem much more of natural shooting motion to him. It just seems like a wider stance, more fluid through out the shot, and one continuous motion.

Other have said that Cedi tends to try to do too much. I think some of that is just poor coaching and development. The Cavs just seem to let the player decide how they want to improve their game instead of giving more clear guidance. Cedi never has seem to make small tweaks to his game instead he seems to go for wholesale changes, I think that's the reason he has been inconsistent and has had limited development.

Dude deserves some credit.

Went from the most unwatchable Cav last year to one of the guys I want to see shoot the ball.

I'm still a bit skeptical... but if he can continue doing the catch and shoot thing... and not try to do more....

Yes please.

I have never said anything good about Cedi, but i salute him for his game tonight. Now keep it up and don't be a 1 game wonder.
