The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Finished Hades. I'm so proud of myself.

Managed to concentrate some instead of crazily mashing buttons.

If by finished you mean you just escaped for the first time...that isn't the end, it is the beginning

Nah, I was kidding.

I just don't know which weapon to upgrade with my titan blood. I finished my first escape with a spear, but it is boring.
It's really just a matter of preference of playstyle. I'd suggest looking up the different upgrades for each of the weapons and their bonuses. I escaped with each weapon multiple times, but certain upgrades I liked way more than others.

What's your favorite weapon, playstyle?

I personally liked the shield the most. Close quarter combat against everyone but the bosses, whom I liked to throw the shield against.

Also, the things you get during your escape runs are very important to the playstyle. I eventually got a strategy down that I was able to replicate with pretty much every run. Duo boons are super useful. I particularly liked getting Stubborn Roots and Merciful End, though others are good as well. I'd start every run with the Athena keepsake and get Divine Dash right off the bat because of its blocking ability. I also really liked getting Crystal Beam (Demeiter) because it's another long-range damage attack (used as a cast) that's really useful especially against bosses.

The shield throw can be OP as fuck with the right power ups. Lots of fun.

Barely playing anything right now, picking at a few older games here and there, but holy hell 2022 looks absurd for gaming.

February alone, sheesh. Enough games that month to last me the whole year. And then Stalker 2 not long after. Not to mention I’m sure there’s a ton of games coming second half that don’t have dates or reveals yet.

Gonna be fun! Anyone gonna be playing Forza and Halo to end the year?

I'll be getting Gran Turismo 7 in March.

I'll probably pick up Halo for the Campaign. Don't see myself spending much time in MP, but will give it a shot. The alpha & beta were clunky as hell on my original XB1.

Sometimes you learn the most basic shit that you should ahvek nown a long time ago.

Just learned HDMI cables can't go over a 60hz refresh rate. Switched to a DP cable.

My god. All of my games look so, so much better.

No shit?

...

Just never knew.

Had an old monitor (over 8 years old) so it couldn't handle 1080p anyway and it didn't matter that much if I used HDMI or not.

Got a new one a few weeks ago and it wasn't performing right and then I learned. The cable matters.
