Just watched the second half of the Lakers-Celtics game. Lakers defense looking unbelievably porous and slack. Lebron’s standing around problem on defense gets worse each year, at age 37 he’s really looking like the old guy at the gym on defense. Carmelo and Westbrook don’t defend, their new guard acquisitions aren’t big on it either.

AD seems to be experiencing some kind of accelerated aging on the defensive end, he used to be a roaming defensive terror who could erase other peoples mistakes, now he’s just sort of a pretty good defender, but not good enough to make up for all the other slackers. Celtics were just scoring at will it seemed.

He's getting the Collin Sexton rookie year treatment.

They put the ball in his hands and just said ball.

Killian Hayes agent should be requesting a trade or trying to do whatever he can to get out of Detroit in 3...2...

Very strong comparisons with the 2021 Lakers and the 2017-18 Cavs.

AD isn't even top 10 anymore which is crazy. Injuries took a toll on him? He's playing soft to avoid injury? His rim protection is non existent, I don't even see him blocking jumpshots like he used to. He's suppose to be in his prime, a dominant top 5 MVP candidate, carrying LeBron on the defensive end, but he's opposite. He's been a jump shooter this season.


LeBron had that same body language last night he had for IT, D Rose, Crowder, etc.

LeBron is at the point where he needs the best defense around him to succeed.
