Cleveland Guardians Offseason Discussion 2021-22

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yep, a lockout until at least early February seems inevitable. Hopefully, the Browns can go on a run and the Cavs can remain competitive while baseball goes completely dark over the next couple months.

Fine with a lockout until February.

Goes beyond that and the league is going to be hurting though.

Think there's a chance something is done fairly quick with how much the 2 sides have been meeting the last year.

Any insight into what the sticking points still might be between the two sides?

I know this wasn't towards me, but I would guess how contracts work in MLB, from the service time and how Arbitration starts etc... next would be salary floor and the soft salary cap... It's the money parts for the players...

I'd rather have some trash talk & swinging at 3-0 counts than beaning a guy because someone else beaned one of our guys.

And to think I stick up for Cleveland fans when ever some of my buddies elsewhere say they complain more than any other fanbase in baseball.
It’s exhausting, man. So much bitching and moaning about the team shop, crooked signs, social media activity from the team’s accounts, etc. It appears that the organization simply can’t do anything right among a vocal minority in the fanbase.

Which is the exact opposite of how the industry views the organization.

The greatest thing I saw was a few years ago in the world series when Soto showed up Bregman...

I'm definitely tired of the Mike Trout types...

Nobody can touch Jeter's well mannered, highly respected, squeaky clean persona anyways.... It's time to celebrate some pricks....

Cleveland fans, regardless of the sport, are horrendous. A bunch of whiny, spineless babies. The shit I see on Twitter and Facebook or comments on articles on The Athletic make my eyes roll back in my head. Quite frankly, the media in this town isn’t much better (it’s the worst with the Browns; the motherfuckers who cover that team live for negativity and drama and can’t wait to force-feed that opium to the masses).

Looks like we can cross off Chen Zhang-Ao Zhuang from our wish lists……. F*ck!

Actually like that International signing for Oakland.

Got a chance to watch him at the U-23 WBSC, he's got good stuff and is weirdly refined for someone who has never played in a professional environment.
