Wow, check this out:

https://www.espn.com/nba/standings

After so many years of Western Conference dominance, the East so far looks to finally be the better of the two. And it's not even close right now.

12/15 teams in the East have a positive point differential, and only 2 are 40 or below win percentage.

In the West, meanwhile, only 6 teams have a positive point differential, with the #5 seed Mavericks among the 9 in the negative, and 5 teams are 40 or below win percentage.

Not a guy capable of moving the needle anymore but he doesn't ned to move the needle for the Bucks.

if they are fully healthy, he's a 10-14mpg role player there. I think he's accepted that he's a role player at best these days and he could give them some good minutes in certain matches.

Bucks are a tricky team, if they hit the playoffs 100% healthy, I think the can repeat. But I think they are one of the teams amongst the top10 in the league that can least sustain injuries because of how massive the talent gap is between their top3 players and their role players.

Funny thing about the Lakers now, is that I never expected AD to struggle like he is; I absolutely expected to see Russ do so. Outside of the turnovers, he's slowly finding his way on that team. Weird stuff.

As for Cuz to the Bucks.... good. I feel like it's only a matter of time before they go back to crushing teams again.

Has Davis always been a poor jump shooter, is he in a massive slump, or is it some combo of the 2?

I will say that I’ve never seen the same explosion athletically since he became a Laker. I think the injuries earlier in his career are taking a toll in that regard.

Dude really needs to sack up and be a center full time if he wants to dominate. I think he’s soft though and doesn’t want to be physical until he has no choice.

The Lebron Lakers were built on the assumption that AD would be a generational player, a top 20 ever player. He briefly looked close to it in their championship run, but outside of that…not so much. Very very good but not quite all that

I am probably going to regret this in the future, but I'm gonna say it, Doncic isn't the dude right now. He's a front runner.

His mental game is so beyond weak. He'd make Charlie Villanueva look like a stoic presence on the court. Yapping at the refs non-stop. Barking at benchwarmers when he converts a bucket.

He's a great passer and has the Harden step back game to go with the occasional bully ball inside. That said, there's no in between game to speak of right now, and he's in his own head half the time he's out there.

I don't expect him to come close to playing out that contract, and the tune will be "free Luka - poor guy has no help!" He's a punk.

So who had Jonas V becoming a plus 3P shooter on their NBA Bingo Card

edit: beaten to the punch

The fact that he couldn't take Lauri to the hole should show you how unathletic he is. He put up good stats tonight because he hit a few tough step back 3s. But if he can't blow by Lauri...that's not a generational talent. He's not Lebron.

Luka just needs to put in the work and be better physically. He has success early in his career and it seems he stopped improving.

Of course he is a generational talent. Not even a question.

His issue right now us his work ethic and excess weight. He needs to take his conditioning seriously. He is too naturally talented and the game comes too easily for him, so he slacks off.
