I just love watching him block the shit out of dudes and keep it in bounds and it leads to a fast break where he hauls his ass down the floor and then finds a wide open teammate for the transition bucket.

Even when he couldn’t hit a lefty spin hook for shit all night long..he was still dominant in his own way.

I really think this offense is at its best when the PnR game between JA and Garland is working, but man... I'd love to see them get Mobley going early on Sunday.

Yeah I was appreciating how much he contributed tonight even when he couldn’t buy a basket to save his life. But still…I’d love to see him really get it together on offense. He shows these flashes where you’re like, holy shit, he could be SO good offensively too, but then he’s totally inconsistent. If he wants to live up to his true all-NBA first team potential he has to get consistent on offense

As I’ve said elsewhere, guys like Duncan and Shaq had 3+ years in college to explore their offensive repertoire and go through learning pains. He’s doing it in real time against NBA athletes.

Its gonna be apparent when things start clicking.

Put it on the 1st team all defense resume (dare I say DPOY)?

ETA: it’s already happening where you see guards dribble it out when they see him slide over… but this is the type of highlight that changes the way opposing guards behave it’s so nasty.

The best part was how he calmly blocked it right into Rubio. He had his eyes trained on Rubio the entire time. He knew he was gonna send that shit back like an undercooked filet mignon and that we needed possession. Honestly could have turned into a fastbreak bucket if we ran off of it.

His offensive game will continue to grow. He's shooting 34% from 3 on the year which is such a pleasant surprise. His defense is scintillating but man Mobley makes some sexy passes sometimes. Fully expect his assists to go up as his offense gets better and we run it through him more.

He has to put all of his time into the 10 footers, from all angles. I see him miss those so many times. Not too worried, as that is likely one of the easiest things to fix as it takes reps and confidence, which he will build throughout the first few offseasons. Once he nails down a go-to move, then the offense becomes unguardable.

Mobley is quickly building his portfolio of clutch time blocks against some of the best offensive talents in the league. Off the top of my head: Lillard, Tatum, and welcome to the list Mr. Mitchell.

All in 20 career games? Yea, this kid is SPECIAL. You love to see it.

Still pup up a double double he is roy no questions asked

I wouldnt say ROY is locked up. Scottie Barnes will be in the conversation till the end of the year.

What is interesting is I thought Green would win it. On a bad Houston team, I thought he would put up a ton of shots and score 20 points on 40% shooting. What is hilarious is Houston went on a 6 game winning streak the minute Jalen got hurt. Jalen isnt getting as many shots as I thought, but is shooting an impressive 38% overall, lol. 27.8% from 3 on over 6 shots, so we complain about Okoro shooting bad, but Green has been just as bad with zero on defense.

Barnes has been 15/8 on 49/36 shooting and 3 dimes. I love his game and would be perfect for our team, of course I love Mobley more, I mean just because your think your wife is hot, doesnt mean other girls arent hot too, right? lol

I am not usually petty, but I do love how bad Green (and KPJ) have been.

He becomes so deadly when he gets those going in

He's getting pushed around on those shots a lot. He will improve those as he gets stronger I am sure.
