I still get freaked out with how much air Garland puts under his shot. The arc is insane, does anyone have any comparisons who shoots like this with this much of an arch? Do you guys know what i mean?

The arc is what allows him to swish so well without hitting net ( @The Oi mentioned it). It's like an Olympic diver...when they splash straight down, it's like nothing hit the water. When they have horizontal movement, the splash is bigger.

As an aside, my shots have always had wicked arc because a large part of my formative years were spent shooting over Sam Clancy and his seemingly 24' wingspan.

We played this crazy game when i was a kid that everyone on the other team had a broom that i had to shoot over.

While I do think we need to split up him and Sexton to balance out the defense and scoring through out the game. I do think this more aggressive Garland could make for a more potent Sexland lineup. Typically you want two small guards to attack teams relentlessly to make up for their faults on defensive.

We just weren't getting that with Garland before but now it could just change the outlook if we want to deploy Sexland against certain teams. The gravity that Sexton and Garland could pull now could open up a lot more now than before.
There's not really a way for Garland to play like this consistently when Sexton is on the floor. Only one of them can dominate the ball and Sexton isn't the playmaker that Garland is to justify him doing it. Sexton would have to get better playing off-ball for it to work.

I have the arc of a fire ant shooting over a breadcrumb.

Guy needs some stamina. Really can tell when he is tired. He dribbles around hoping someone else will take the shot.

We needed his 3s tonight at around the 3-4 minutes in the 4th quarter and he just because passive. They kept trying to feed Cedi who missed a couple 3s in a row.

Garland looked tired, to be honest.

We really need a combo guard that can take some of the pressure off of Garland and Rubio and take a couple of possessions here or there.

You can see it when Garland or Rubio give Okoro the ball and head to the corner occasionally, they’re trying to get a break…but Okoro is hot potatoing it back to them immediately.

That’s where Sexton is truly missed besides just his scoring…just a guy to take some pressure off. Three guards is the ideal number. Teams usually have your PG-Garland, his backup- Rubio and a third combo guard…in terms of ball handlers.

Yeah i agree losing Sexton was huge and it would eventually affect the team. Koby needs to make a move now to get a vet SF/SF ( Don't need to be a great defender. Just someone who can shoot and score)to try and fill the role at least for this season. Don't wait until the trade deadline and do it now. We don't even need someone who would be here long term, just a stop gap until Sexton is back next season. Can't be that hard to get.
