Brad is the best they've had in that spot. (ironically, Price may have been the worst).A bit off topic, but heading into the season I thought this might be Austin Carr's last and they are grooming Daugherty to take over. I know this isnt an original thought, many on here have said the same and see it too.
But I think he is having a ton of fun watching this team first hand and might put off retirement for a few years. When we talk about an organization from top to bottom, the media matters. Not the shit takes of the Cleveland media, but the 3 and sometimes 4 headed monster that is the team's media.
look at it like this: not only do you not have that bum on your roster, but you didn't lose anything not getting him. What the hell man. Couldn't we have outbid the Knicks for Cam Reddish at this price? Kevin Knox and a protected first round pick?

The Hawks traded Cam Reddish to the Knicks for Kevin Knox in a swap of former first-round draft selections.www.espn.com
I'm not sure it was in the interest of the Cavs to do so for Reddish. Maybe he will find new life in New York, but ATL has had some good coaching and has been in the playoffs, and ATL felt like it was time to let go. They probably get the same level of performance for Knox and at least they get a pick out of it to boot. Not sure what the Knicks strategy is for this move.
I think the Cavs being patient for the right move rather than the one that looks OK on paper is the right thing to do here.
and that's only if he accepts a role. Green and Turner eventually deferred their game.Feels like a Jeff Green or Evan Turner sort of "never lived up to his potential, but was serviceable at times" is his ceiling to me.

Mid season? That’s not right.
