The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I finally finished Metroid Dread. I was little apprehensive of playing a side scroller Metroid game after playing Metroid Prime all those years ago, but this is easily one of the best titles on the Switch to date.

Of course, now I'm motivated to go play through the Metroid Prime series all over again in preparation for Metroid Prime 4.

Just this week I passed 500 hours played in Super Mega Baseball 3 on the Switch. What a game.

I just started a second playthru. The movement ans atmosphere of this game is so good.

Finished both Hotline Miami games. They are fun, violent games with pixel graphics. The soundtrack is excellent and the plot is interesting. The second one was way more difficult and frustrating to play at times, so highly recommend getting the first one on sale to see how committed you feel to the series. Took about 7 hours for the first and 12 for the second.

Here is a taste of the music:

Some gameplay, just found a video of a random level.

Caved in and bought Cyberpunk 2077 for 10 bucks a couple months back. I get a few hours a night after the little dude goes to sleep.

Enjoying it so far. It's a bit buggy (playing it on the PS5) and after about 70 hours in it has crashed 5 or 6 times. But CDPR is the best on the planet with how intricate and well designed the side missions are, something I appreciated immensely with The Witcher 3. The main mission is interesting as well, and Keanu Reeves is so damn awesome in this game. I'm near the end of the main missions but trying to get most of the side missions completed first.

Dog broke the Xbox, considering finally upgrading the old ass system.

I barely play I have no idea what I'm doing here, which nba game allows you to actually play with the latest rosters? Aiming to spend as little as possible on this habit

Should I buy the new Xbox? I have a PS4 I don't use.

I'm waiting for the new LG OLEDs to come out...

Microsoft buying Activision Blizzard. As someone who follows this industry very closely, if the Bethesda acquisition made waves, this is a fucking tsunami.

I’m a big fan of MS and the Xbox brand, their plan this gen has been impressive. But no doubt this will get some negative reception.

I don’t know. Activision and Blizzard are both such toxic shit shows at the moment that most people, aside from PlayStation stans, will probably see this as a good thing. Microsoft has been pretty good about not gutting the studios they buy like EA and more or less seem to just be letting them do their thing.

That’s how I view it, for sure. I have high hopes.

Yeah, it's pretty big. Obviously Call of Duty being such an enormous acquisition. I doubt it becomes an Xbox exclusive since they'd lose out on so much money. It'll probably get put on Gamepass.

I can't get into anything. Just very impatiently waiting for Warhammer 3 and risk of rain 2 expansion.

Last LL was announced and it's a cool concept. Kind of a Create-a-Lord for the Chaos Undivided Faction.

Bunch of youtube streamers played the first 50 turns of a campaign today.
