People just keep shitting on Cedi. I get that he's streaky as hell but sometimes those hot streaks and exceptional effort plays turn games around. Cedi was a big part of the spark that helped change the momentum in our favor. Like him or not, he is a veteran player who knows how to impact a game. I predict as he continues to age and mature, the good parts of his game will rise and the bonehead stuff will reduce.

As long as Cedi isn't forced into playing a role that is beyond his strengths I see him as a relatively cheap asset who can help get wins in certain situations, and you can't have enough of those.

I agree. The thing with Cedi is that he NEEDS to be somewhat out of control to be effective. That's the X factor in his game, along with his motor. He's not a steady shooter, a smart playmaker or a fundamentally sound defender. Yet he can make a huge shot, see a Rubio-like passing lane and give you the steal in the backcourt that wins the game.

All that is just as much a part of him as the boneheaded mistakes and airballs. The trick is to limit Bad Cedi and trust Good Cedi if/when he appears. It's not easy, but there you go...

When Cedi had that 1 on 3 fast break last night after he got the steal, I said out loud “No Cedi!” I assumed it was going to be him going way too fast and blasting a ball off the backboard.

Did not envision him not only finishing the basket but also getting the and one. Feels like I gotta back off a bit for his next few drives, and give him some faith.

Guys are like fuggin twins… Put this guy out there in an Osman jersey and the refs would be totally fooled…

I always check our top 50 stats all time.. and what a delight it was to see Cedi pop up in the rebounds today. Now tied for 50th all time with Elmore Smith.. whoever the hell that is

Good game tonight. I hope LeVert is watching because how Cedi played tonight is exactly what we need from LeVert [obviously along with being a bucket getter] playing next to Garland.

The Big E is the guy in my profile pic. He once blocked 17 shots in a game.

He must have been playing against the stupidest team of all time. You'd think after he blocked 5 or 6 shots they'd stop challenging him. You'd think after he blocked 10 they'd stay out of the lane entirely. Who the hell was coaching that team? Jack Ramsey?

Difficult game. Got both hot and cold Cedi
