Anyone else play JRPGs?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Its been good! I'm going slow because there's so many cute subplots in the background so I go talk to every npc after any event

That's the good/bad thing about that series. You gotta constantly talk to npcs to get everything in the game if you aren't using a guide.

I've played through Trails of Cold Steel one and two enough times I can probably write a guide off the top of my head lol

Its been pretty fun tho. Not sure if im too under leveled or not but some of these boss fights have been hard

I'm a heavy level grinder so that part I cannot tell you. I am almost always overleveled.. sounds like you may want to sit for a minute and grind some levels at a place that drops needed items. I don't remember if that one needs u-material or not, but if you can find a spot for needed items and level up at the same time then you get a win-win.

The xp curve is brutal tho. I get like 1-3xp per kill and need 200ish per level and im still pretty early game

I don't remember what the leveling was in the game since it's been a minute since I played. I have played so many games its not easy to remember everything anymore about every game I have played haha

Anyone else start Triangle Strategy?

I have not but I have heard great things

I'd say it's a tactics ogre type game with some octopath traveler mixed in honestly...

I'd rate tactics ogre a better overall game, but it's a bit easier to follow.

Finally finished my reruns of GS and TLA. What a great game series. One of my favorite balances of battle and class system and great puzzles for a JRPG. Really hoping we finally get a fourth one and its better than DD was.

Gonna finally start Triangle Strategy tonight, so excited for that too

I feel like it's a mix of octopath traveler and tactics ogre... I don't think it's as good as ogre, but it's still legit

@foucault87 how have you liked triangle strategy?
I have been taking it slow (about 5 hours in) but its been pretty good so far. I probably spend too much time grinding out the practice matches but the combat is pretty solid and the story looks like it is going in a good direction.
