I think tonight is the night to give Cedi an opportunity to get out of the dog house. An emotional OT win on the front of a b2b, playing a young energetic pistons team that has given us problems and beaten us twice…we need Osman to come in, give us a big energy boost, hit a couple threes, get us out in transition, get some steals….maybe make a couple plays in the half court. Could be a helpful weapon alongside LeVert with the 2nd unit if JBB is gonna force the Lamar Steven’s and Okoro brick house building starting lineup…

Cedi has been a big part of us during a lot of our success this year. He may have been really bad defensively lately but tbh the entire team has and benching him hasn’t magically improves the defense.
 
What happened that got him benched? I remember seeing a few bad Cedi statlines but nothing out of the norm for the perpetual Cedi roller coaster

The excuses for this guy is mind numbing, Osman is simply an inconsistent player.
 
Cedi is the kind of player who excels when he has a straightforward role and just needs to do those things. I dont think he is Omri Casspi who couldn't memorize a simple playbook, but when asked to do more than just catch and shoot, move the ball if there is no look, pump and go sometimes, and run the floor...you are running into major issues. Cedi as a 4th wing...pretty good. Cedi as a sometimes backup PG, sometimes primary wing, sometimes perimeter stopper is a recipe for disaster. He was great at the start of the season when we had Rubio and Garland able to spoonfeed him looks and we had more of an offense in place. Now, without any of those buffers its bad. You put this same player on GSW or Utah and this board would riot about us giving up a value role player...he is just being misutilized.

Idk I saw him brick wide open looks agaisnt lakers and I mean wiiiide open the main problem with cedi is cedi. He is inconsistent as hell. Never seen a player brick more wide open shots than him
