Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #76 | Mavericks @ Cavaliers | March 30, 2022 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
one thing I didn't like was that Okoro only took 2 threes. We have seen that he has gotten better at shooting those, so they should try to get him in to more rythm earlier than third quarter.

He gambled and played everyone and he lost.

Hawks are up 30 on the Thunder so they'll be nice and rested. So that's likely two losses.

Just a bad strategic decision.
There not a coach alive or dead that would have done your suggestion……Especially with every game that matters at this point….You don’t forfeit a game before it’s even played,…..Missing the players that we are missing we could have 4 days off and tomorrow game will still be a struggle to win……

Cavs will end up the 10th seed. Hornets are ognna be 1 game behind after tonight. If we lose tomorrow night, Hawks will be 1 game behind. And they'll own the tiebreaker.

Nah, shoulda put Windler on Luka.
No, Stevens was handling Doncic just fine. Stevens should be the designated Doncic guarder, he should mirror his minutes and be checking him every minute Doncic is on the floor.

I really wanted us to make the playoffs. I thought it was a sure thing back in January. Now it looks like a prayer. I never saw this coming (like the hopeful fool that I am). I know young teams struggle and front-run when things going our way but we're just not good enough to overcome these injuries. Especially now that other teams in the East are more healthy and thriving this month. Silly me.

No one could have foreseen the rash of major injuries let alone overcome them.

I mean, I think Bickerstaff is a useless idiot and not only can he not Coach offense, He clearly can’t coach a traditional defense without his 3 7 footers and 2 elite bigs gimmick.

That being said, today we just got carved up by Doncic and had no answer for him. The strategy of leaving Finney Smith open was an interesting level of stupidity from JBB but alas…Luka went off in the third and they took control of the game. The Cavs are just missing way too much talent at this point.

Seeing LeVert and Garland go off together was super encouraging though. Back to moral victories being the takeaway from individual games. At least we locked up a winning season no matter what and will have two shots in the play-in. The race for the 6 seed is basically over now though.

He's trolling me because he's upset I pointed out Okoro was utterly ineffective despite all of the minutes gifted to him.

IIt will be a major mistake to try and go for this win when you've got Atlanta tomorrow night.

You lose this game and then to Atlanta and now the 9th/10th spot is very, very much in play.

Not sure about that. We lose tomorrow and Charlotte wins and we will still be two games up on the ninth spot with five to play, one of which is against Orlando. Seems like a decent cushion honestly

With that said I’m secretly rooting for us to get out lottery pick anyway so…

I see this as extremely unlikely at this point.
