Cause he sat Garland way to long in fhe second quarter. Played Okoro over Steven's.

Wouldn't play hack Claxton

I can go on.

I'd argue resting Garland in the first half when he was struggling and Irving was super nova allowed the Cavs to come back in the second half.

Once again proud that they even made it a game, but the predictable result happened.

Am I way off base or shouldn't we have started pulling up some 3s during those last 3 minutes? We're down multiple possessions with limited time and we spent it trading 2s, felt almost like a forfeit.

JB wasn't playing defense on that possession?

Cavs get a stop and it's a 2 possession game. I'd rather force a role player to finish than put Irving or Durant at the line, wouldn't you?

JB has a lot of faults on display this game, but the way some of ya'll reach is funny.
No. JBB can tell the players to foul. Brown had the ball. Claxton has gotten touches. You foul one of them. Instead letting them dribble 20 seconds off the clock is coaching malpractice.

Cavs needed a few role players to step up to have any chance in this one. Instead, they did the opposite of that.

It's a minor miracle the end result was relatively close given how insane Kyrie and KD were.

Especally since Claxton got possessiion of the ball twice and we could have easily fouled him.

We should have hacked him for the entire quarter.

JBB just will never do the things that a great coach does.

Im not saying hes the worst coach of all time. He has a few strengths.

None of them translate to winning playoff basketball besides his guys playing hard for him.

No ATO plays. Bad ATO defense, maybe even worse than the offense.

No "tricks" up the sleeve. Nothing fancy, nothing that can really turn the tide of a game fully 100%.

Just disappointing. Cant blame him 100% of course. Nobody can shoulder 100% of any blame. Ultimately the players didnt get it done... But he coached a bad game and should be called out for it.

Yeah, JBB is a development coach. This is about his peak.

Won every quarter after the first. Lost the game in the last few mins of the 1st.

Great comeback from Garland after an awful start, Levert had a better second half, Love was solid, Lauri 1 defensive rebound in 29 mins ain't going to cut it.

Cavs lose by 7. Garland got 34, 24 in the 2nd half.
