How to watch the Guardians on TV

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Is Apple the future of streaming sports?

“Every match. No blackouts.”
That’s the tagline for a landmark, 10-year deal between Apple and Major League Soccer. Starting in 2023, the two companies will build a new subscription service from the ground up, sold separately from Apple TV+ but available through the Apple TV app. It’s the first time a sports league will make all its games available through a single streaming service, and boy, is that refreshing.

Having big time trouble getting on apple tv+
Followed the directions word for word. Created ID and password. But tried to sign in about 10 rimes and no luck.
Very frustrated.

Let me guess.. your password you created is too easy to guess.. no permission to enter?

Fuck apple tv. I created an account so long ago, then never used it, that I couldn't remember my password and the security questions didn't make sense. Then when I tried to reset my password twice they never sent me a link even though it said it had been sent (twice).

I recommend installing either freeware adblock plus or uBlock Origin for your browser and then you can go to https://mlbbite.net/ and find the daily link to the Guardians game.
I have MLB.TV but a few games lately I haven't been able to watch via that app since they were either on Apple plus or something else. With an effective free adblocker app one can watch the Tribe for free with the adblocker

The mlbbite.net always has multiple active feeds for the game but they work easier if you have an effective adblocker

it went to your spam folder.. most likely.. or to an email address that is no longer valid.. Apple TV+ and Peacock are both doing the same thing.. gathering new email addresses & contacts.. It's only a matter of time before watching a baseball game, any game.. will be with a subscription of some type...

Same. They wanted me to authorize my account by sending me a 6 digit number. I tried 3 times and it said the code was incorrect (I never put them in wrong).

Just ended up listening to Rosie on the radio.

F Apple anyway.

Nothing from them went to my junk folder so IDK what their problem is. If they're trying to increase usage of their site then making it impossible to either register or log in then not only did they not show themselves off to a potential customer, more like they pissed me off so I don't want to fuck with them as a content provider. IMO Apple products suck.

Bally Sports+ arrives (sort of): Sinclair has finally launched a standalone streaming service for its regional Bally Sports networks, but only in five markets. For $20 per month or $190 per year, Bally Sports+ offers live, in-market games for the Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, or Tampa Bay Rays without a big pay TV bundle.
If you're in one of those markets, you can start a seven-day trial at ballysports.com. The service is currently available on Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and mobile devices, with Roku support due to arrive in July. (In the meantime, Roku users may be able to stream video from an iPhone or iPad to the TV using AirPlay.)
Until now, DirecTV Stream's $90 per month tier has been the only streaming option for Bally Sports channels, so the launch of a cheaper standalone service is a big deal, and it follows the launch of NESN 360, a $30 per month service for Boston sports coverage, earlier this month
The company has yet to secure the digital rights to the remaining nine teams: Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Guardians, San Diego Padres, Arizona Diamondbacks, Cincinnati Reds, Texas Rangers, Minnesota Twins, St. Louis Cardinals, and Los Angeles Angels.

Sinclair CEO Chris Ripley says the service will add 12 NHL teams and 16 NBA teams to Bally Sports+ this fall. (Unlike MLB, Sinclair has obtained the streaming rights for the pro hockey and basketball teams it carries on Bally Sports.) He has expressed hope of securing deals with the remaining MLB teams as well by the fall.

The decline in cable and satellite subscriptions among all respondents’ households amounts to a 31 percent decrease for cable and 32 percent for satellite over the course of the year.

For those who do not describe themselves as sports fans, the decline was 42 percent for cable and 43 percent for satellite.

Among self-described sports fans, the decline for cable subscriptions in their households was 23 percent and 27 percent for satellite.

“Long has been an axiom in the media business that live sports are keeping the networks afloat with their strong viewership. And these numbers, showing sports fans hanging on to the cord in greater numbers than the general population, bears that out,” said Professor Charles Grantham, Director of the Center for Sport Management within Seton Hall’s Stillman School of Business, which sponsors the Poll. “But the numbers also show a drop of major concern among sports fans – there’s a new kid in town and now the leagues and networks need to work on their streaming game.”

These were the findings of a Seton Hall Sports Poll conducted this last month among 1,514 adults across the country. The poll features a national representative sample weighted on U.S. Census Bureau figures for gender, age, ethnicity, education, income and geography and has a margin of error of +/- 3.2 percent.

I've really enjoyed my StreamLocator. I use it for MLB.TV, NBA and NFL through DAZN.

I think the StreamLocator subscription is 80 a year. I got the NBA through India for 20, MLB.TV is like the normal 120 or so, and every NFL game (plus whatever other content is on DAZN Canada) was 150 a year.

After months of waiting, sports fans were finally able to try Bally Sports+, Sinclair’s streaming service for the Bally Sports RSNs, when it soft launched on June 23. It is currently offering access to MLB teams in five markets: the Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers and the Tampa Bay Rays.

Users in some markets believe services like Bally Sports+ are a move in the right direction for sports streaming. One Reddit commenter on the r/cordcutters subreddit said they were lucky enough to live in a market that has a team on the app to watch year-round: the Detroit Pistons, Tigers and Red Wings. The one-year plan puts his monthly cost for all that content to approximately $16/month. Unfortunately, technical difficulties have marred the viewing experience and many users have commented that the video quality falls short compared to cable or other streaming options. “My main gripe is the clear drop in streaming quality watching games through the Bally sports app vs. watching an out-of-market game through MLBtv,” a Reddit commenter said. “Hopefully Bally invests in higher quality streams through their platform in the near future.”
