2022 Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anyone else notice, Planez for June is .294/.980? Just imagine if one of these prospects come out of nowhere ...

We heard about him in the past and I wondered when he would get going... He only has one walk in 29 games, so will he translate any higher in the minors?

Doubt it ... but fun trying to find the diamond in the rough ... just looking around for info for mid-season prospect list discussion. And note, Oscar G at LC was only a little better (12 BB in 114 games).

If I remember correctly though Planez is rule 5 eligible in 23... So even if he does have a good season, we have no way to protect him

Planez would have been eligible for R5 selection in Dec 2021....

That was a LOADED Int'l FA signing class by CLE...

So when are George V and Bo Naylor going to be full time Guardians

That AAA lineup with Naylor, Palacios about to be back down there, and Arias back in the next week or so from his rehab assignment is hilarious. When Valera is up there in a month, even more so.

Speaking of AAA, Will Brennan is playing himself (and the organization) into a fun spot.

Are they going to be forced to start Jones playing some first with that OF of Palacios, Brennan, Valera, Benson, Call, etc ... only Fry and Bradley blocking the corners...

Wil the thrill Benson with his 11 th homer today with 3 K”s and a walk . Naylor struck out three times as well

Mike Rivera has decided to retire after being sent down to Akron following Naylor promotion.

He could have been the full time starter at Akron instead of playing only once or twice a week in Columbus.

Still believe he had fringe ML backup upside and hope he picks it up somewhere else.
