I sorta get Clement hitting ( Even know I’m beginning to hate him as a hitter) he playing 3B….. But your weak as hitting catcher, already got his one hit for the month….Richie P was made for that AB…..
 
And, there was I going to comment, why not put Palacios in with Reyes at 3rd and do a suicide squeeze ... oh well
 
Larnach.. with a BAD AB.. swings at a pitch off the plate above the letters..

Or even Kwan... Bases loaded and a guy who doesn't strike out much... Seems about right.
 
The board was nearly unanimous that Reyes should be playing in the field.

Don't bellyache when the inevitable happens.

This team is built on defense, and when a DH plays in the field, we are ceding one of our biggest advantages.

Franmil would never play in the field for me.

How about all managers do good stuff and all managers make mistakes.

There is not a single poster on this board that thinks Tito is perfect or flawless in a daily situation by situation outcome.

No one needs to act like a martyr saying they can’t critique Tito. Of course you can, just at least do it with the acknowledgement that overall what he is doing this year with this extremely young team is a massive net positive

???????? Clement s not the DH. Jose is. You can move Miller to third and Naylor can play first. Boneheaded decision by Tito.
 
Second thought I’m done with Clement, fucking Owen Miller can’t play 3rd base every blue moon ?
 
The problem is that almost everyone doesn't give a rats butt about defense.

Tito has lost 28, in spite of the team.
 
Stephan once again does a nice job.
 
Lead off double... goes to waste.. good pitching by Stephan.. slammed the door on the Twins.. now let's see if we can score some runs off of Jhoan....

All-time great managers make mistakes all the time, when you make as many decisions as they have to it is inevitable. People are allowed to talk about the mistakes.
 
Not sure how much longer you can carry a no stick Utl player and Clement,
