Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How about all managers do good stuff and all managers make mistakes.

There is not a single poster on this board that thinks Tito is perfect or flawless in a daily situation by situation outcome.

No one needs to act like a martyr saying they can’t critique Tito. Of course you can, just at least do it with the acknowledgement that overall what he is doing this year with this extremely young team is a massive net positive
Yes, managers make mistakes, but there's a difference between big and small mistakes. Tito seems to make brain dead mistakes almost daily. The kind that a fan watching at home, not making millions of dollars, wouldn't make. He has his strengths in many other areas, but in game decisions, he's one of the worst I've ever seen and throws away potential wins way to often.

This is absolutely false.
That is true.

And the board was nearly unanimously for trading Amed.

And a majority wanted to trade Plesac.

And a majority thought that Arias should have replaced Gimenez in spring training.

We wouldn't have a winning record if the fans had gotten their way, let alone be leading the division...which BTW....very very few thought was a viable goal.

You guys can criticize Tito for not pinch hitting or not pinch running in that inning, fine.

But it's not the reason we're losing today. 4 hits is why. It's a poor showing here by the hitters.

Look, if you think Tito is “one of the worst game day managers” you have ever seen(which can only be assumed that mean one of the worst game day managers ever), I don’t know what to tell you.

Cheers, though

This comment is the equivalent of when a US Senate bill comes short of passing by a few, saying "it wasn't those senators that stopped its passage, it was THESE senators" (even though all of them voted No).

Yeah, and? If you only have one inning where you give yourself a chance, you're not going to win many ball games. So they fucked up their one opportunity. This team has been fantastic about creating many opportunities. Not so, today. One more chance though..

Aboard the Titanic. Captain Tito has the ship going full speed. Icebergs are spotted. Tito makes no change in speed or course.

CATS responds that it’s not Tito‘s fault that the ship sank. It’s the iceberg’s fault.

Baldelli gets booed as he replaces Duran for a lefty...lol.

One thing Tito does well is always look big picture.

It's 162 games. You don't sacrifice long-term success to try and win today.

It's Franmil's second game back--after sitting yesterday. If you pull him, it shows less confidence than if you leave him in there to keep his AB in the ninth.

Little things like that matter much more in the marathon of a season than slightly increasing/decreasing your win chances today.

Sheesh, what an exaggeration.

And Baldelli pulls the bonehead play of the week by taking out Duran.

Maybe you call having the best record in the division sinking.

I do not.
