No not really. They want somebody to help out tomorrow in Detroit. Benson probably isn't at that point but that doesn't really tell me what they think about him.

No, because they are completely different types of hitters and players... HRam was replaceable honestly...

Truth be told about Benson, he still has a high bust rate. He is like 6-7 on the depth chart right now... it's hard to find a spot for him cause of that. If he was this ready a couple seasons ago, he would already be up...

If Mercado is coming back to the big league club it must be to stop the insane Clement in left field experiment. Clement should be dfa'd IMO and the only reason he's not is to play 3rd when Jose needs a rest.

Arias and Jones are the 2 guys other than Clement who could play 3rd base. Jones has already made 4 errors as a RFer...
So Arias for Clement... I am good with that based on Arias's glove.
Send down Palacios, add Brennan some how.

How about sending Clement down to AAA and using Arias regularly around the INF...
Mercado is a D replacement for Reyes getting more OF time with OscarG on the IL...

Only 1 is an out and out fielding error.
3 were throwing, 2 of which are hard to blame him but he got credited for it anyways.
His fielding is not that big of a concern in RF.

That depends on whether they think Jones is ready. He's only played 20 games this year, none at 3B.
