2022 Season | Series #25 | Yankees @ Guardians | July 1-3, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Only 1 is an out and out fielding error.

3 were throwing, 2 of which are hard to blame him but he got credited for it anyways.

His fielding is not that big of a concern in RF.
good to hear, because it is a lot of recorded errors in a short period of time.

How about sending Clement down to AAA and using Arias regularly around the INF...

Mercado is a D replacement for Reyes getting more OF time with OscarG on the IL...

I am actually thinking to send down Miller instead... Clement doesn't play a ton and Miller has more upside plus needs to right himself. He cannot do that sitting on the bench?

If we went by a mix of the ideas...

Arias replaces Miller in the utility spot getting mostly everyday ABs, Miller and Palacios then get sent down for Jones and Mercado...

So normal lineup would be...

Kwan, Rosario, JRam, Naylor, Reyes, Jones, Gimenez, Hedges/Maile, Straw. With Arias, Clement, Mercado as the pinch run/hitters/day off guys...

Thank you. Was just curious since I don't really get to see any minor league games.

and it was Yohan Ramirez that was DFA'd to bring Mercado back, not HRam

Haha I misread it! He said Ramirez, so I was thinking since someone said HRam earlier that they kept Mercado over HRam (in a sense they did).

Trust me though, they want to find a way to keep Benson, but it's hard to figure how he would fit. If the guys batted right handed he would already be on the roster...

Tito just put Clement's name in permanent marker on his lineup card for the next three months.

Great opportunity to hit your 1st dinger this year Myles, good luck...

I love how we are complaining about the guy who plays a couple times a week... We wouldn't have any issues if the starters were producing...

Where have you been, bro? He plays 4 times a week.

You are really showing yourself to be an enemy of this team’s success. It is unconscionable that anyone could continue to excuse the performances of Clement, Straw, and our catchers. Every single one of those guys should be cut tomorrow and no I don’t care they gave Straw $25 million. That contract is going to rival the one we gave Nick Swisher as worst in 10 years. Unbelievable. And you are lying to our faces despite what we’ve seen all year. Just as unbelievable.

Problem is then 1B.... It would be Naylor and no one else.
At least Arias plays the other INF spots (like Ernie).

The return of Oscar Mercado reduces the need for Clement to play OF..
