I've found that it's a heck of a lot easier to do your job when your competition thinks you're making a mistake.
(Same thing with fans.)

12th best ERA in baseball since June 1st, just ahead of the Yankees.

Each starter had at least 1 blow up start in April or early May that are skewing season numbers. But they are what most expected them to be; an above average grouping.
 
Always said that this FO would be the best in the business if they were working with a fat checkbook. They literally do everything exceptionally well, besides spend money.

We'd probably stand out less. We'd hope to be on par with Houston's front office.

maybe - otoh, wait till shapiro gets to toronto w their bigger pockets - they were better before he showed up
 
Hot take alert. I think more highly of Antonetti and Chernof than I do Mark Shapiro. I think he was a little overrated.
