Cade York Returns?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was thinking him too. In 1977 when i was 5 years old, my mom was watching Cock
roft kick a field goal in the last second. She was explaining me that if he makes it we win the game. Ball hiked, kick up, and it was good.
My mom went wild, and I was hooked.

SO in a sense I guess, Cock ruined my life, lol
Ah, we finally hear @Lee 's origin story!

Cockroft was only the Browns' 2nd kicker with only 5 kickers in their first 62 years.
Lou Groza '46 - '67 --> 268 Games
Don Cockroft '67 - '80 --> 188 Games
Matt Barr '81- '89 --> 115 Games
Matt Stover '90 - '95 --> 80 Games
Phil Dawson '99 - '12 --> 215 Games

All these guys were very good kickers.

Compared to the last 5 years:
Zane Gonzalez '17 to '18 --> 18 Games
Greg Joseph '18 to '18 --> 14 Games
Austin Seibert '19 to '20 --> 17 Games
Chris Naggar '21 to '21 --> 1 Game
Chase McLaughlin '21 to '21 --> 16 Games
p.s. Don Cockcroft stopped to help my mother-in-law with a flat tire once. How many players would do that today?

What is it with Brown's kickers and being such good people, lol

And after he helped change the tire, did Don stick both his hands straight up and yell...."It's Good"?

I think maybe we have a kicker and a QB?

LT and head coach still TBD

Is this something other kickers do in practice?

At least they let him try I guess.
