Wasn't sure where the best place was to ask this question so I ended up here. Could Brennan be lobbied to replace Gose's 40 man spot since he's on the 60 day IL? Is that Will's ticket to the postseason roster?

Gose's 40 man spot was taken awhile ago...
He has no way to be added to the playoff roster, unless we lose someone else from the current 40 man roster...

Who was added when Gose went on the IL?
I'm not certain what you say is accurate. There may be a way.

I doubt it happens but Guards can always wash their hands with Plesac and put him on the 60 day and give Brennan the playoff roster spot.
I wouldn't complain about such a trade off...

At the moment there isn't... Sadly it is accurate...
And it was Will Benson who got his 40 man spot...
Plesac isn't hurt enough, if he would file a grievance against the team... Not something Cleveland wants to deal with it...

Him and what agency... but yea sounds like a long shot.
Worst case, Brennan lights the world on fire and could easily, easily!! Take the bench OF spot come playoffs but he's not eligible.

The Guardians have been killer the last week. Effectively ending Minnesota then Chicago’s seasons. they were the desperate ones, they could have gotten right back in it with wins….but the Tribe just turned assassin.
That is a shame he is not, but we should get to see a lot of him these last couple weeks to see what we have in him plus to be able to rest some players for a couple games

Exactly! Will Benson got the 40 man and if he is sent down the Brennan can be petitioned to take Gose's spot on the roster. That's what I'm thinking, but I'm not making any bets on it.

Hence why I was surprised they added him so late...
It's way too late to get him added to the playoffs since the loophole is closed...

No it's not completely closed coach. They can petition for a player not on the 40 man prior to Sept 1(or whatever the date was) to be eligible for the spot of a player on the 60 day IL. They question I have is if Benson would be demoted can they petition for Brennan to take Gose's spot on the roster. Somebody posted the rule recently. I'll try to find it.
