Jacoby Brissett: Class Act

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
the oline is making Brissett look really good and he's taking advantage of it. what else could you ask for
Our defense not blowing a game that we had a 99.9% chance of winning?

Ugh, but yes, to your point, Brissett certainly impressed me today. He was more than good enough.

EDIT: typo

He makes good decisions (even taking that 4th-q sack instead of forcing it) and acts like a team leader. Very easy to like, even if he has limits. I was surprised they didn't let him sneak the final 4th-and-1.

Honestly seems like an incredible guy too, which makes it so much sweeter to see him play like this.

I do believe the Browns are going to Vikings-Keenum their way to more wins with Brissett. He's getting a hold of this offense and is running it with Swiss Watch perfection. Combined with the running game, it's extremely hard to stop. The Browns put up 23 points on a very good Steelers defense, and it was mostly on the back of Chubb and Brissett.

As much as I hated Baker towards the end of his tenure, I was realistic with myself that Jacoby would be a step backwards from a healthy Baker.

Yeah, fuck that. I take Jacoby over Baker every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

People keep mentioning how bad Jacoby was first game...I remember hearing him say he went and looked at that tape and saw how open guys were that he missed. Its pretty clear watching that tape has done a world of good, cause I havent seen him miss *any* throws (especially not like game 1) since. Mark of a quality QB that he can recognize and fix his mistakes that quickly and that completely.

Manager, maybe, but no noodle arm.
That throw to Cooper (who whiffed it off his facemask) had smoke.

Cooper should’ve probably caught it, but I’m sure Brisset wishes he had that back. Throw was a little behind him and he had to try to reach back running full speed. If that ball is put in front of Cooper and he catches it in stride it’s probably 6.
