And make sure you take enough left turns that you get the fuzz off your back before you stop into that one on the corner of Taylor and Birch out in the Windy City. We heard there’s ears in the walls at that one.

Dickety Dee.

The efficiency at the QB sneak had me low key chubbed yesterday.

JT Barrett level guaranteed first down.
I was just happy we in fact sneaked it. The trend of lining up in the shotgun when you only need a few inches baffles me.

Brissett made the conversions look easy and to my eyes, Pittsburgh players looked resigned to the fact he was going to convert them.

Am I crazy in thinking that we may even use it for short yardage situations when Deshaun is back? It's an absolute weapon and Stefanski is already in his bag of tricks playing off of it.

4 isn't coming off the field unless he starts soliciting more creepy rub downs from amateur massage therapists. I don't have the stats, but I do believe the QB sneak is something Watson can execute well also.

But until he gets back on the field, this ground and pound style of offense and efficiency in short yardage situations can absolutely be a weapon that wins them games.

Stefanski is all about "FINISH" as a mindset, the last two weeks proved they'll need to maximize their efficiency late in games to close out key wins.

Thought they should have went for it on 4th and short instead of punting the ball back to Pittsburgh with 10 seconds left.

Ohhhhh I thought he meant "Am I crazy in thinking that we may use the QB Sneak with Watson for short yardage situations?" and I'm like no, of course not.

But if he meant "Am I crazy in thinking that we may bring Jacoby in to QB Sneak short yardage situations" then yeah, you're Looney Tunes. Part of the reason the QB Sneak is successful is how quickly we're able to get up to the line and do it while catching the defense off-guard. If you're swapping QB's, you lose that.

I.....probably read that wrong.

For some reason, I thought he meant Jacoby taking Deshaun off the field for short yardage situations (Taysom Hill style).

Reading it again, I think he may have been suggesting using 4 for that. If so, total agreement.

How is Watson on sneaks? If he’s average or below When Watson comes back id love to throw Jacoby in there on the sneak situations. Who cares if defenses know it’s a sneak? They already know it’s a sneak now lol. Plus imagine if we ever did play action out of it a single time. We could probably put Owen Mericic as our route runner and still score he’d be so unaccounted for
