I imagine they are being ultra cautious with him given that the NBA exhibition season is basically as important as summer league and most of the regular season actually functions as a kind of exhibition season for playoff teams

He’s in his second year, so playing is important for growth and chemistry. But there’s no reason to rush him back in the first few weeks.
Get healthy and make sure it doesn’t become reoccurring.
On a side note, here they go with injuries already. It derailed last year.

If y’all would pony up a donation to gain S34 access, you would have known about this a day ago.

Hell, you’d even know whose foot he stepped on to do it.
I can't afford it. Please tell me whose foot he stepped on. I'm curious.

And here ladies and gentleman is the Achilles heel of the 2022 Cavs. Lack of depth.
The trade made a severe cut into our depth.
Q. Who replaces Mobley?
A. Nobody good.
We already had a help wanted sign open for SF. Now we have the other F position open, hopefully temporarily.
But injuries happen in the NBA. When healthy, we should be as good as anybody. But,,,,,

Cavs have good depth.

They just put DWade at the 4 and put one of Levert/Windler/Okoro at the 3.

When Rubio is back they should run Rubio, Okoro/Levert, Levert/Windler, Love, Lopez and a lot of Rubio, Mitchell/Garland.

Don't get me wrong... if I were the GM you guys would have had Mark still on the team with Don.

You have multiple options. Wade can play the 4 or you start Kevin and go small in the 2nd unit

So, replace Mobley's 32 minutes with 22 minutes for Dean Wade and 10 minutes for Robin Lopez. Now, replace Milwaukee's PF's (can't remember his name) minutes with 32 minutes to some of their other guys. Which team will be hit harder?

Lol…..Assume Mobley is our best Front court player, take any team best front court player away, and tell me there okay, weak argue for anyone to say we shouldn’t have made that trade because it kill our dept…….

FYI Mobley is okay, rumors he was shooting around yesterday….

I’m pretty proud that no one from s34 leaked it on to this forum, even if someone wanted to get some Twitter likes with the info.

The on thing Ben isnt considering is that if he got the info, maybe someone else got it outside of S34. Its maybe not probable, but it is possible. Ben is an amazing source, but he isnt the only guy in the know.

On crutches and from a wheelchair with a prosthetic leg.

I would not be surprised to even see some Rubio,Garland,Mitchell lineups. Not sure if it's a guardable lineup. Too much PnR, Isolation, shooting and passing ability.
Was thinking about this too. Can see it happening as a potential end-of-game lineup. Mobley and Allen with them or Love/Wade and Mobley in a 3-2 zone.

Sometimes there is a flurry of traded buckets late in the fourth where the difference in the game is one or two offensive possessions that came up short. Garland - Mitchell - Rubio on the court at the same time... Cavs will have an advantage in half court scoring. If they can generate a few stops (the Mobley factor), get one passing lane steal and a transition bucket, this could be a lineup that helps swing the close games.

Good call, @Sir'Dom Pointer !
