2022 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No honestly Pickett DOES look good, all things considered. He's made more throws in a drive and a half than Trubisky did in 3 games.

They won't win this game or anything, but just looking for some silver linings.

I mean I think you guys know I'm not one to blow smoke about my teams. If a guy is playing like shit or the team is playing like shit, I'll say it.

I absolutely agree that Pickett is better than Mitch Trubisky.

I hope he sucks shit and caps out as an immobile dude with an average arm who can't read a defense and leads the league in turnovers.

Admitting he's better than a QB who sucks shit is the most complimentary thing you'll hear me say about your team. :fight (7):

Cousins is 17/17. That's gotta be some type of a record.

How nice is it to have your star defensive player battle through double and triple teams to muster 2 sacks? Aaron Donald that is.

Myles is approaching overrated territory.

I didn't want to say this. But it's trending towards being truth. He doesn't get enough slack in which he deserves. He shouldn't be a talent that relies on sacks to come up big. His team gets ran all over on, he's not good at all in a drop back coverage, if this defense is going to be good to elite, Myles has to be what TJ Watt means to the Steelers.

I think Aaron Donald is the greatest defensive player in the history of the league--LT be damned.

There just isn't a way to scheme against a disruptive defensive tackle like that.

For a supposedly athletic and massive edge, he really sucks against the run.

This is probably and most likely true. I just expect Myles to be the greatest defensive lineman for a day versus a backup LT. I'm very curious to see Chargers LT grade.

From what I watched, he was getting around him at will when he was left on an island.

Herbert just stepped up into the pocket and it didn't matter.

I'd like to see more out of our defense in those situations. If your DT's can't generate a lick of pressure up the middle, why not bring JOK who is an exceptional blitzer? Why not bring Delpit who apparently is too dumb to cover anyone?

I didn't watch RedZone because I was watching the Browns.

@Rich how'd Pickett look today?

THe literal lone bright spot.

He's in a nearly impossible spot because the Steelers have

1) The worst running game in football

2) A bottom five offensive line

3) The worst OC in football.

On top of that, their WR group is extremely overrated. Dionte Johnson has stone hands and Chase Claypool can't run a decent route.

Pickens has some talent, though.

So two bright spots.

Oh and Najee Harris TERRIBLY overrated.

you know how people say you shouldn't draft an OSU QB in round 1?

Well, don't draft Alabama RBs in round 1.

I don't know what happens to these guys who just run through tackle after tackle in college like Richardson and Harris, but it doesn't translate to the NFL.

Derrick Henry is the one guy worthy of his 1st round status.

All the others never came close.
