In a division with Daniel Jones and Cooper Rush, this goof is blaming his QB, in the media, for why they're last.
Mind you he is also, essentially, the GM soooooo......
I'd say he's been given the longest leash in football. 11 seasons as head coach (not counting this one).
3 winning seasons and 8 losing.
That's a lot of years to be given an NFL head coaching job for that type of track record.

I’m fine with going for it in a big way like that on a play the entire defense “knows” you are running/sneaking
Things I don’t like are long developing run plays or screens
Most of the time I would just sneak it tho.

I think counters and pitches have the same chance of hitting a home run. There's just one line of defense, with green pastures behind them.
Is play action not long developing? If the defense is in the backfield, Carr isn't completing that pass.

Rivera throwing his pick under the bus is par for the course. Hes gonna lose that lockerroom, if he hasn't already. If it were a better franchise, he'd be next on the hotseat.
Agreed that his leash is beyond too long. Hes a "football guy," though. Their lifespans are like cockroaches. Similar to Dorsey.

I wanted Khalen Saunders over Takitaki. I took him for Washington in the 2019 RCF mock. It hurts seeing him play decently for KC when we're so desperate for DT help.
