I don’t believe that getting paid more means they’re not allowed to be happyTheir payroll vs the Guardians payroll. Talk about a stacked deck.

There is a thing though where Yankees fans act all entitled that they absolutely have to win and if they don't someone has to be fired, blah blahI don’t believe that getting paid more means they’re not allowed to be happy
Maile in ARB makes sense.. but is still eminently replaceable.. Not keeping an aging catcher that doesn't throw the ball where the runner is arriving (both 2nd base and 3rd) while not hitting at a level a pitcher would be proud of.. isn't someone worthy of consideration for a roster spot.. He's a much worse Bebo Perez.. btw.. if Bebo is released, he might serve as an MiLB catcher/mentor?..Why would you think they're going to cut Maile? Hedges is the FA, more expensive, and defensively regressed. I've said all along I expect them to agree with Maile in arbitration.
The culture of professionalism and not acting like an asshole. I am not misreading this team in the slightest, nor its FO personnel and how they expect their players to behave. The energy comes from professionalism, hustle and a never die attitude, not showboating. It is you that is misreading this team.
Fans should celebrate like that more often, in my opinion. Creates a fun atmosphere. There is a thing though where Yankees fans act all entitled that they absolutely have to win and if they don't someone has to be fired, blah blah
So if winning (especially at the ALDS level) is such a base expectation they shouldn't be all that reactive to it.
But some individual fans do not carry that entitlement mentality and I don't think it's silly for them to celebrate; the others meanwhile, I'm not stopping them from celebrating but it's kind of dumb and inconsistent.
It's the ALDS. How much more sparking does a baseball player actually need. Maybe rocking the baby raises the temperature of a co-ed softball game where players are going through the motions. The temperature of the ALDS is already high. Pimping a HR couldn't matter less. Glad he did it, it was fun.I will say that was the most obnoxious HR by Naylor I ever seen, that's not something to do if you can't follow up with another one. Simply put he's not that good to showboat like that. But it did spark the Yankees obviously.

not new yorkersI think people should be allowed to celebrate their successes
This is like something off of Eric Andre or Tim and Eric and I love it so much. Total fever dream.Celebrate that success baby!!
That’s fairnot new yorkers
not new yorkers
The most overrated city in the world.
They don’t even have a football team!
Browns celebrating 8 championships? That was before the SuperBowl era they tell us.Fans should celebrate like that more often, in my opinion. Creates a fun atmosphere.
If you want to criticize Yankees fans for anything, it should be for gloating about championships that were won more than 40 years ago.
