Interesting stat of the night

If this trend continues I wouldn't mind giving new Orleans a call....

This is a dumb question, but does the rookie max extension prevent a trade? Not saying it should happen, because I love this guy, but if a team with a monster SF wanted an All-Star PG, is Garland even shoppable or does the team have limited options?

Hate complaining about the refs, but when your team is consistently scoring more in the paint and getting fewer foul calls something is wrong. Refs let Raptors get out of hand and fucked up Darius' eye. Last 3 games they let the other team rough up Garland with no calls.

No reason the Kings should get more superstar calls than this team.

Ffs. 5 games, with one eye, and we are already here.

Yes, it's a classic knee jerk, but one concern is always legit. It's defense of our 6 foot back court and it can be a long term issue. Who knows whether it becomes a Sexland debate around here by season's end.

Putting a 6'10" 3 and D guy at the 3 instead of a 6'7" could help

It may be an issue down the road, but I don't see that right now. Boston has alot of length and bully ball in their backcourt and the Cavs backcourt weren't bothered too much by it. The problem right now is DG isn't moving well.

Celtics actually play quite a short backcourt rotation: Smart, White, Brogdon. All are like 6'3 without crazy athletic length.

The main issue I see is that Garland isn't really switchable. Don has more wiggle room as he's an athletic freak with football build.

Maybe he is partially blind now?

Not sure how else to explain his reversion to rookie year, deer in highlights Garland in the span of a week. He's the worst player on the floor.

I think Garland and Mitchell need to figure out how to play together. I think it's a lot easier for ball dominate players to thrive when they don't have to defer to someone else on the floor. Garland made his jump when Sexton got hurt. Mitchell has looked his best when Garland was out.

IDK. To me Don looked just impressive Garland or no Garland. He's a steady force. He looks like the only real allstar on the roster.
Garland looked like crap mostly. Even before the eye injury. Started like an idiot that Raptors game and was subpar in preseason. Don also looked bad in preseason but turned the switch ON in real games. Garland needs to figure shit out. If he shows that he can't play well with another dominant guard that's a problem. Because this time the other guard is just better than him.

The problem I see with garland he’s going that stupid shot he used to do by jumping in the air and then try to pass and has to hurry if not a travel. I don’t understand why he is reverting back to that dumb shit. Also missing layups bricking free throws and can’t hit a wide fucking open 3. And gets rattled in crunch time. I just hope is just a bad stretch and gets his shit together cause warriors are tommorow and they might smoke us the way his playing
