Nice job by the bench as Wade was a +17 in 18 minutes, Cedi a +17 in 27 minutes, and Okoro a +16 in 21. They combined for just 10 points but they were doing good things out there.
The only reason the Blazers broke 90 points was they hit 42% of their 3's. Normally they hit 29% on the road. Grant was 5-for-8.
For a minute it looked like the Cavs were going to choke again. They had a 20-point lead in the 4th which was cut to 9 with a little over four minutes to go. Simons got hot from deep. But Stevens hit two free throws followed by two stops and two buckets and that was the game.
The Cavs shot 55.4% from the field and 44.4% on 3's. They ran their offense beautifully. They're getting better at it, in my opinion. The gears are meshing better. The only quibble I have is the 16 turnovers. They should keep it at about 12 - three per quarter.
Garland was a +26 and dished out 12 assists. Mitchell had 34 and Allen with 24 and 13. Mobley seemed to be struggling but still ended up with a respectable 10 points, 12 boards, 3 assists, and 3 blocks.
Cedi's shot was off (1-for-5 on 3's), but he was still a +17.
Good win against another team that is over .500. We were fortunately Dame was out but we were missing Love, LaVert, and Rubio so it's a wash.
