Game #27 | Thunder @ Cavs | Dec. 10, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This game showed Mobley’s potential. Active defensively, good closeouts on 3pt shooters (fouls called on him were iffy). He was clutch. Making a 3 when game was ties and made the right reads whether to pass or take it strong to the basket. Garland-mobley pnr was dynamic because mobley has good passing instincts. Just limit himself to 2 dribbles and he’s golden

Ah, yes horrible......was +10 and key on both Mobley 3's. I say he did his job and stayed out of the way. Especially on a b to b when he is gassed.
Look I Luv Darius but his been terrible for two games like I said he got lucky tonight, yesterday he was beyond awful I wonder what the plus/minus is for Neto and Levert they seemed to weirdly vibe off each other. Nite nice Cavs win

He is in over his head. The off season hype and last season’s accolades seem to be getting into him mentally. If he drives, he thinks he will get calls. That is why he has a lot of turnovers, especially in the fourth.
He has alot of turnovers when he drives because nobody fears Stevens, Okoro, or Mobley at the 3 point line.

They own the rights to so many other team’s picks though going forward

No doubt. They aren’t going to do it, but I’d be interested to see what OKC would look like adding a guy like Kuzma.

100% this.

DG has a lot of pressure on him to take high degree of difficulty shots or create against a defense able to smother him due to our lack of movement.

The staff is ass. JBB is a likeable dude, but as an NBA HC he’s league worst.

It’s reached the point of DG developing bad habits as a result.

It’s not a “crunch time” issue with choking. It’s that in crunch time, final minutes of games, is when NBA teams get serious defensively. And when teams get serious defensively, we struggle because our coaching staff is incapable of creativity.

What you see in the final 4 minutes of games is what you will see for 48 minutes in the playoffs.

There’s no chance in hell we get where we want to go with Bickerstaff.
This all day! And because he has to put up a herculean effort to create in a slow-stagnant offense, he gets exhausted. With that exhaustion comes turn-overs. Now garland does have his lapses, but that comes from being a young point guard and can be fixed with proper coaching.

Again, this take is lolz bad. You keep on thinking statlines only matter. I see Garland leading Frobley. You just see horrible play. I love Garland the conductor. I hate Garland the Kyrie wannabe.

Neto, albeit with a small sample size, does not turn the ball over at the same rate. And he is playing with absolute dog shit for wings.

Levert also does not turn the ball over when he was the one initiating.

Your definition of Terrible must be different than mine.

B2B game. Mitchell/Rubio out. Two of our Hester 3P shooters out(Love/Rubio). Very inconsistent shooters on the court with him all game.

Certainly was great games from him but I would not go as far as to call them terrible games

I mean, if Levert was able to run the offense without turnovers late in the game, how is that on the coaching staff and not the player?

Mitchell had no trouble being the PG when Darius was out early in the season as well...

Your also more stagnant on offense. Neto, Cedi and Okoro shit up the joint in the second half.

Even still you have to play the game the right way. If the guys miss shots and you lose, then lose that way and force roster changes.

I have honestly always questioned Garland's ability to pass out of traffic in the paint. He has never been good, to my eyes, at seeing guys once he's in amongst the trees. Always thought that's been a weakness.

He can throw the lob, but he doesn't hit the corner shooter.
