honestly- if he can even be a top 20 player we are an instant contender.
 
I will give the Spurs some credit for playing hard for the entire game.
They might not be a great team but Keldon Johnson and Vassell are both really good young players. Koby had his chance to draft both of them but picked Windler and Okoro.

Been my point since the draft!!!! BOTH OF THEM were better #5 picks than a one dimensional player!

The combination of expectations and the way we’ve lost a number of games we should have won, makes it feel a lot worse than 17-11.

Very true. However, we have defeated the best team in the league twice in dramatic fashion...so it evens out a little. I am finally reconciling with the fact we are a good but not great team. There was a brief moment in the beginning of season where I didn't think a finals birth was that far fetched. Now it feels like a pipe dream.

There are times when the Cavs come out and act like they haven’t practiced all week!!! Tonight they were chasing the Spurs on defense and the Spurs were actually not moving the ball with passes but with the dribble! Garland couldn’t stay in front of fire hydrant tonight. And nobody put a body on anybody underneath until the 6 minute mark of the 4th quarter! AND ALL JBB WAS DOING WAS STANDING THERE WITH ARMS FOLDED CHIRPING AT THE REFS!!!! NO, JBB….chirp at your players!
 
Just caught the recap. Can't even feel bad about this one. LeVert actually played well again!

I mean we're also 8-10 since our hot start.

Cumulatively the record is fine but.. we are not a good team, for awhile now, and I have no confidence on any given night that well play well. Doesn't matter who the opponent is.

We aren't building on anything or improving, not figuring anything out.

So wait, we’re not winning the championship this season ?
 
I honestly think we would lose a playoff series to any of the teams in the top 10 except for the Knicks. We’re going to get outcoached and our offense is going to be so easy to stop with playoff game planning, while our perimeter guys and Love will get switch hunted constantly for their poor defense.

Love isn’t playable for much more than spot duty in the playoffs.
